CALL FOR APPLICATIONS Results-Based Monitoring and Evaluation Training for CSOs 30 May – 02 June , 2016 at the WACSI Training Centre, Accra, Ghana The West Africa Civil Society Institute (WACSI) invites you to apply for Results Based Monitoring and Evaluation training designed to development practitioners with requisite project-related monitoring and evaluation tools and competencies. This training will enable you to professionally assess the efficiency, effectiveness and impact of your projects/interventions and organisational performance.

Results-based monitoring and evaluation enhances the effectiveness of organisations by establishing clear links between past, present and future interventions and results. This training would help your organisation to extract, from past and ongoing activities, relevant information that can subsequently be used as the basis for effective programme planning and delivery and reorientation. Without results-based monitoring and evaluation, development organisations cannot judge if project delivery is effective, if progress and success is made or if there is a need to revisit the project delivery strategy.

Benefits: The training will provide you with tools and techniques to promote the use of evaluative evidence so that lessons learned inform your management decisions and future programming decisions. Furthermore, they are designed to help you meet the challenge of choosing the right results, testing the accuracy of your development assumptions and demonstrating how and why change happens where it matters most, in improving the lives of the poor.

What to Expect: This course is specifically tailored to strengthen the results-based management skills of programme staff of NGOs and CBOs, monitoring and evaluation officers including staff members of international development organisations and international organisations.

The cost of each is $450 (Four Hundred and Fifty Dollars only), payable before Monday, May 16, 2016 to be eligible to participate in the training.  Participants willing to take part in both courses will pay 950USD.  If two or more attendees come from the same organisation, they will pay 420USD per course, per participant respectively.
