A WINTER MENU MUST-HAVE Steak & Potato Pot Pie
INGREDIENTS
1/2 pouch Idahoan Mashed Potatoes #451160
1/2 cup leeks, cleaned and sliced thin #611381
2 cloves of garlic, minced #610520
1 cup frozen peas and carrots #645780
8 oz prepared beef brisket #625168
Salt to taste #480300
Pepper to taste #478650

1 puff pastry sheet, thawed #647220
1 egg, beaten #620210
DIRECTIONS 1 Preheat oven to 400°F. Set 4-6 individual oven-proof baking dishes or oven-proof cups on a baking sheet.
Prepare the Idahoan mashed potatoes according to package instructions and set aside.
Preheat a medium size sauté pan. Add a tsp of oil and sauté the leeks and garlic together just until translucent. Add the Idahoan mashed potatoes, peas, carrots, beef, salt, pepper and parsley and stir.
Divide the filling among the baking dishes.
Unfold the pastry sheets and cut circles just a bit larger than the baking dishes. Place each pastry circle on top of each dish and press the edges to seal. Brush with egg and cook for 15-20 minutes or until crust is puffed and golden.
