01- Cohousing for Work and Live
This is a final project of Semester 4 which is a Cohousing project that based on an imaginary site that created by our year tutor. Project involved studying folding architecture where students are required to design through cut and fold model makings in order to create architectural spaces.

There’s a meeting room at the groundfloor for client meeting overlooking the indoor water feature, leading up living spaces like bedrooms and bathrooms in between, finally the working office at the 4th level overlooking the rooftop garden which create a relaxing working environment. The red shows the main circulation of the house.

Communal buildings
including common kitchen, gymnasium and library building that serve the residents. The scheme involved cut and fold landscaping that linking the communal buildings acting as a green path that cross over water features leading onto the lake creating endless view. Below section cutting through the gymnasium with a swimming pool on rooftop level that connects with the rooftop garden and common kitchen building with a guest rooms on upper level. Communal buildings encourage social activities that create c a safe, intimate and harmony environment for people to live in.

Tiny homeless shelter located at the garden site facing the monks’ accomodation beside Waterford Shopping Centre. The idea is to create distinct material to separate the living and serving spaces which are timber and concrete. Green wall and water feature are introduced in the scheme to create a relaxing and happy environment for homeless people to stay in.

03- Waterford Theatre I decided to looked on the important element of a theatre which is mainly focus around community and being able to overlook other people. The main idea was to create a circulation zone in which other can take part in a visual theatre and one can be or cannot be seen as they are approaching and moving through the staircase creating different articulation through space.

From the top floor of the building, we can look down to the entire foyer space which including the internal courtyard below , it also achieve a conection of inside and outside space of the building.
04- Mix-used Residential building
The main concept is to create a hybrid building that contain a culinary school under the residential blocks. Culinary school consist of three different programme spaces which are cooking fundamentalist kitchen, practical kitchen and demo kitchen. There’s a courtyard act as a briefing space between all these programme spaces. The main idea is to extend the market in the town hall to the new proposal scheme cooperating with the cooking school and turn the kitchen into street food restaurants.

Mix-used Residential building Cooking kitchen for culinary class purposes, when the market is happening the classroom will turn into small individual street restaurant that open up to the street and create a welcoming facade that improve the urban lifestyle in Nass.
Auditorium space is the hierachy space in the project, its a demo kitchen space for chef to hold seminars to the local community. When the market is happening this space will turn into a street food market hall that open up to Abbey street.

05- Pony Trekking Centre
The main concept of the design is to blend in with the existing landscape and focus on how people experience the landscape as well as the approach of the building with the idea of folding. The circulation act as a journey, it ci started from two different apporach which one bring you to the ground floor reception another one provide a roof top garden journey before getting down to the building. The choices of materials are important as the timber represent new intervention on the landscape while stone represent the old.

Pony Trekking Centre in Ballintlea After registration, the riders need to put on the required equipments from the tack room before starting the warm up in the indoor arena which is the hearachy of the design. The circulation continue towards the existing old buildings area, The canopy outside the existing buildings is a space to demonstrate and give safety prep before riders start their journey towards the countryside. The riders finish their journey
coming back from the back of the site sloping down to the ground floor level and return the ponies. The back road also use as a deliveries road. The materials chosen are timber and stone where timber represents new and stone represent the old. There’s a visual connection between the two distinct elements.

Judgement of Souls
The text that inspired me was :once the soul has been stripped of the body , all its features become obvious , its innate features and also the attributes the person has lodged in his soul trough his behaviour in particular situations. So when people come before their judge, the judge makes them stand there and examine their souls one by one. The top of the model represent the soul being stripped off and defragmented into one by one to examine themselves through the true reflection . The configuration of the soul is random as the soul itself is confusing as it's really hard to tell what it represents. As the water ripples the soul shown the dark and bad attributes at the other side of water but with the light only you can see the true reflection on top of the water. This is representing a curable souls as you can see the attributes represents in reflective material and according to the text the curable has a chance to reflect on the exam ples which are the incurables .

07- Charrette Design 2
The model showcased here is about fragmentation of elements in a city. The modern urban city is made out of different parts and components which come together to form a whole body. In the writings of Jacobs and Holly Whyte we can find evidence that the city is a mixture of elements and that this mixture of uses and stories form an integrated body which make the city an architecturally rich place to be in. The charrette tries to capture the different elements which intergrade to make one place. The breaking down of elements represents itself with many components of the urban life. As it is quite large I chose to focus on the la public realm and take it apart further.

08- Poster Design How can the ground floor ‘plinth contribute in improving the quality of public realm?
Acco According to Hans Karssenberg, the ground floor is said to be the building “most crucial part of the eye level”. Research made by Karssenberg about plinths state that a well-developed ground floor is proven to successfully create good social interactio between areas, high profits for business and good pedestrian traffic. Ground floor also known as plinth, rely not only on function, they are successful from a psychological and sociologic perspective. Furtherore, as the notion of urban deesign is that one of continous design the thesis research yerns to go beyond the ground floor into the outside public realm which it influences immensely. It is therefore beneficial when answering the question, that one can understand the plinth and public realm with its relationship and the significant impact between one onto another. Finally as we leave the realm of the ground floor ’plinth’ to step into the public realm, we transition in a threshold. Therefore it is the contention of this thesis paper to discover curiosities of the threshold and how it contribute to the balance of the public realm and round floor. It is often that one space led to another in sequence and very little attention is brought to the portal which transition us, hence the thesis paper turns to relevant promary and secondary sourches which stress the importance of the threshold.

“The ground floor is where building and town meet, where we have our close encounters with buildings, where we can touch and be touched by them.” (Gehl, 2006) Working Models Final Model Charrette
