Why Inversion? Because in most cases it works! Inversion Therapy is the oldest recorded medical cure for back issues, otherwise known as spinal traction. Inversion Therapy has many benefits. Not only will it relieve your neck or back pain, but it will improve posture and flexibility, and helps with spinal realignment, sciatica, osteoarthritis, disc-related issues and more. Inversion New Zealand has been teaching people to use this treatment for over 12 years now and most people get off the teeter pain free to the first time in years, or their pain is substantially reduced. Come to our expo this weekend. “People can come along and try it,” says owner Dave Hare. “They can also watch other people getting treated and see their reactions as they get off a table. People often say things like, ‘gosh it feels so good to be pain free, I haven’t felt like this for years!’” Dave says he suffered from back pain for 20 years and paid thousands of dollars for different treatments to no avail, but then he tried the inversion table and was amazed by the results. “I was in Singapore when I bought my table, but I didn’t buy it to fix my back because I was told it was unfixable, so I bought one and within three months I was totally pain free! That’s the average result for all 15,000 people who have them in New Zealand.” “The benefits are huge,” says Dave. “They are being use for brain-damaged people, stroke victims and for people who simply want to sort their back and neck issues out. Most people see a large improvement after only one treatment.” Inversion NZ hosts back pain expos throughout the country almost every weekend. These are a way for people to try out a Teeter Inversion Table and feel the benefits for themselves. It’s also a great refresher course for people who already own one. Sessions run continuously from 10am to 4pm and no bookings are required. The Inversion NZ Nelson expo takes place this Sunday (March 1st) from 10am to 4pm at the Trafalgar Street Hall, 67 Trafalgar Street. For more information, visit www.inversionnz.co.nz.
Nathan,Dave and Tyler Hare will asnswer any questions about this amazing machine on March 1, at the Trafalgar St Hall.

Bensemann speeds to first national title
By Jacob Page
Richmond’s Reuben Bensemann has produced his biggest win on a bike by claiming the New Zealand down hill title. The 23-year-old was the most consistent rider across four rounds of racing to take the title at his first attempt. “I wanted to give it a crack and see how I stacked up. “I was surprised I won - I thought I would have a shot but I didn’t expect to win it,” he said. “I ran out of money so I had to skip a round but I still had enough points to get the overall win. The apprentice engineer said hopefully it will give him the opportunity to step up the the elite class next season. “It has broadened my goals in some respects but I still need more results to get more sponsors.” Reuben said he had always loved the sport. “I was always a fan of the sport but it’s only been the last two years where I’ve taken it seriously. “Training for me is fun and Nelson is the best place for the amount of tracks we have available. “Often I train around Maitai. “I’ll have a few races near the end of 2020 but which ones they will be I’m not sure yet. “Hopefully from there I can go on and compete overseas. “Racing has only been recent, I always liked going fast so I thought I may as well go the fastest.”
