A Powerful Partnership
Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center and ENT and Allergy Associates partner to provide patients across the region enhanced access to ear, nose, throat, allergy and audiology care.
ENT and Allergy Associates
(ENTA) has officially formed a clinical affiliation with Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center (CBMC) in Livingston, bringing enhanced access to otolaryngology and allergy care to residents across New Jersey.
This exciting new partnership brings healthcare services across a wide variety of specialties and sub-specialties in the fields of ear, nose, throat, allergy and audiology care, all of which are provided by the Head and Neck Surgery Faculty at the Department of Otolaryngology at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School (NJMS).
One benefit to this collaboration is ENTA will integrate its NextGen Electronic Health Records system with Rutgers NJMS to create a simple protocol so patient care is coordinated more easily and efficiently between doctors at the various facilities. Patients who are found to need tertiary care will be quickly and seamlessly seen by a specialist within 48 hours. This will also give physicians seamless and secured access to each patient’s medical records from other facilities within the network.
This partnership also offers patients at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center leading-edge treatments and a more diverse pool of top physicians within the ENTA network—and vice versa. “We are thrilled to affiliate and collaborate with ENT and Allergy Associates,” says Richard Davis, president and CEO of Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center. “ENTA is recognized throughout the region as a leader providing outstanding care to their patients.”
Robert Green, M.D., president of ENTA, adds, “ENTA’s prestigious affiliations are what set us apart in our field. Working with Rutgers NJMS physicians at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center provides yet another level of quality care for our New Jersey patients.” Finally, by working closely with leading community providers like ENT and Allergy Associates, CMBC can greatly improve access to the convenient, superior services they offer to New Jersey residents impacted by head, neck and ENT disorders. “We are excited to have the opportunity to broaden the range of interventions Jean Anderson Eloy, M.D. that address our patients’ needs,” says Jean Anderson Eloy, M.D., professor and vice chairman of the Department of Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery at Rutgers NJMS and chairman of otolaryngology at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center. “Combining our university assets with those of ENTA’s will yield greater medical excellence in the communities we serve.” To learn more about ENT and Allergy Associates and its partnership with Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center, visit entandallergy.com/about/cbmc or call 1.855.ENTA.DOC.
