My St. Mary’s Story “Our father was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital in very serious condition and underwent a triple bypass operation. During those critical days, my Dad’s doctors, nurses and hospital staff cared for him and our entire family. They gave us support as we counted the minutes, hours and days before he opened his eyes. We experienced first hand unbelievable professionalism, kindness and dedication. We have no doubt that the remarkable skills of Dr. Kaushik, plus the cooperation between his doctors—Dr. Krol, Dr. Wahba, Dr. Borkowska, Dr. Imiolek, Dr. Szewczyk-Szczech, Dr. Pidkaminestskiy, Dr. Huckowski and Dr. Torres—and the dedication of the St. Mary’s Hospital nurses and staff led to his survival and recovery. The nurses in the Heart Room and in Intensive Care were like angels for giving us hope and strength.” — The Miskowicz Family
