Making the right move and following a family tradition
Real Estate is in the genes. Following the footsteps of her late mum, Beverly Roys - a successful real estate agent in her time – Ange McLachlan officially entered the industry as a salesperson earlier this year. She completed her real estate training in double-quick time and sold two houses within the first six weeks of joining LJ Hooker. It was affirmation for her that she had made the right move. Ange will be well known to many as the owner of the popular ‘The Sanctuary’ which she has owned for over 14 years and still retains ownership. “I have an amazing crew at ‘The Sanctuary’ which allow me to do my dream job: looking after people during the selling and buying process in Real Estate.” Ange also had a home staging business called ‘Enhance,’ helping people prepare their properties for sale, a skill she continues to use to help her clients. ‘Enhance’ began the relationship with LJ Hooker. “The team welcomed me warmly and I always felt part of the entire process.” Highlights so far for Ange? Meeting people, helping, and creating a relationship with clients. I initially met Helen at my first Open Home late March and now I feel like I’ve known her for years and regard her as a friend. I helped her buy the house she had always wanted and sold her house in under two weeks to achieve that goal.” Born and raised in Masterton, Ange loves the Wairarapa region which she shares with her husband, three sons and a grandson. “Ange sold me the house I have long wanted and was an excellent agent for the sale of my house. Ange was with me through the whole buying/selling experience. She gave me good advice on price, offer on house purchased, and excellent guidance and prepping to list my home for sale. She helped me find tradies for small repairs. Ange has always been warm, encouraging, and friendly. Ange has gone above and beyond.”
