National title wins on finewool, strong longwool, corriedales & lambs. Shorn 14 transtasman tests. Master Shearer 2014. Runner-up 2019 Golden Shears Open final.

Shearer & contractor. scored one of the biggest hometown Golden Shears wins in the National Circuit final in Masterton 2019, to claim a place in NZ team for the first time. Just one other win in 14 Open-class seasons. One of the most successful in Speedshear events, in which he also won at Golden Shears 2019. Runnerup 2017 World Championships All Nations Speedshear.

Based in North Canterbury. Won place as runner-up in NZ Merino Shears Open final. Won almost 30 Open finals, including 2 in Australia. Twice NZ Corriedales champion and 3rd in 2016 Golden Shears Open final. Runner-up Circuit final. Shorn 4 Transtasman tests – 2015 & 2016 Hamilton, Vic. and Golden Shears Masterton, 2017 in Bendigo, and Dubbo 2019 (top individual).

First Open win 2006, aged 18. Now 27 wins. 2019 World champs, won teams title, 3rd in Individual Championship. Won all Nations title, and 4th in all Nations Senior shearing final. 5 NZ Merino Open titles. Acclaimed Master Woolhandler in 2018 but this is her first Trans-tasman series. Won first NZ Shears Women’s shearing title in Te Kuiti 2019.

Daughter of late multiple Golden Shears Open shearing finalist Ray Alabaster. Won four World titles. Individual & teams in 2008, teams in 2010 & 2019. Competed in 10 Trans-tasman tests. Eight-times NZ Open champion. Won place in team with 5th North Island circuit win in Masterton 2019. Acclaimed Master Woolhandler and has won 68 Open finals, third only to the late Joanne Kumeroa, & Joel Henare.

Former fulltime farmer, shearer. Golden Shears Senior finalist 1999, represented Canterbury Show v Victoria, top qualified Canterbury Show Open heats once. Runs Lifestyle Worx, shearing, fencing, woodchopping, mowing etc for lifestyle blocks. Daughter Grace made her test match debut this year for Black Ferns NZ national women’s rugby team.
