The internet is a great resource for nding the best wedding venue in Wairarapa for your style of wedding. There are barns, vineyards, olive groves, and woolsheds. There are rural, rustic, and even waterfront options. Many venues can organise catering for you and some enable, or require, you to organise your own.

Masterton’s Le Grá Vineyard and Winery is a magical spot for small to medium weddings and for your special wedding day photos. Catering is possible in the form of grazing tables as well as family-style feasts with big platters delivered to the tables. Le Grá also boasts a vintage drinks caravan, serving up its own boutique wines for every palate.

Another fully catered venue just outside of Masterton is Wingate Lane, accommodating more than 100 people inside and the same again outside. Masterton’s Lansdowne House, nestled in beautiful grounds with soaring majestic trees, rose gardens, gazebos, waterfalls and more, is a premier wedding venue. Hold your reception in the wood panelled reception rooms complete with chandeliers and leadlight windows.

The Landing at Homebush is another romantic and elegant country setting for your wedding. You can choose to have your ceremony at one of the outdoor areas such as the chapel vineyard, by the rose and ivy archway, or in the gazebo. Reception options range from a luncheon, picnic, high tea garden party or the traditional dinner and dance.

The Masterton Club is reasonably priced and an excellent venue for weddings of all sizes, and with easy access bars. Lots of extras such as room set up, tables, chairs, and white linen are all included in the price. A variety of catering options are available including canapes, bu ets, desserts, cheese platters and more.

Greytown’s White Swan Hotel hosts weddings of up to 75, tailored to your needs and overseen by the hotel proprieter herself, with personalised three course meals.

The wedding venue at Carterton’s Events Centre has options for as few as 20 or as many as 300 guests. There are indoor-outdoor options, and the wooden ooring is great for dancing. And don’t forget Lake Ferry Hotel, a wedding venue with garden bar, restaurant, and stunning view. Castlepoint Community Hall has all the facilities you need for your wedding celebrations too.
