Exciting Construction will begin in 2022

Local nonpro t organization Harrington Center for the Arts (HCA) is receiving statewide attention with their plans to restore the historic Harrington School, built in 1903 into a public gathering space for the arts! At just over four years old, the organization has grown to produce six critically acclaimed programs: Fork Fest: Music & Arts Festival, Chalk It Up, American Fork Concerts in the Park, American Fork Sculpture Exhibit, “The Walls” outdoor mural exhibit, and Exploration of New Musicals.

Fork Fest is Utah's biggest and best showcase of talent in the state that supports over 200 artists and small businesses each year and was selected to be a THRIVE125 celebration of Utah’s Statehood event. Chalk It Up, happening July 8-10, is now the largest chalk art festival in the State with 100 artists competing each year and in 2020 had over 6k attendeees! HCA is growing quickly, and is excited for that growth to continue within the historic walls of the treasured Harrington School. It is residents like you who believe in the value that art brings to our community who are making this monumental project possible. Thank you!

JULY 8-10 FREE AF HIGH SCHOOL

Chalk It Up is a three-day chalk art festival in which local amateur and professional chalk artists spend hours transforming the streets into a captivating, one-of-a-kind experience. During Chalk It Up, attendees are encouraged to attend free classes taught by professional artists, test out their skills in our budding artists section, and interact with the artists that create these larger-than-life chalk installations.
