History of American Fork

As the 2021 Steel Days Committee Co-chairs, we would like to express our appreciation to the many volunteers who have put in countless hours to make the events included in the Steel Days celebration possible, the city of American Fork for their unfailing support, and the sponsors for their commitment to the community and financial contribution even after a year of unprecedented hardship.

Our city celebration could not be successful without the time, effort, and resources sacrificed by all of them to serve the community and provide a chance for all of us to connect and celebrate. We ask all of the residents and visitors to please be sure to thank those who have worked so hard to put on another fun-filled celebration for the city this year. Their service enables us to honor and enjoy the traditions of all the volunteers who have made contributions throughout the history of Steel Days, and we are excited to be able to celebrate the 76th anniversary of this beloved American Fork tradition.
