DID YOU KNOW?
One Park by Grand Long, a $330-million, mixed-use office, residential and retail project in Richmond, is the first ‘Class A’ office space to be constructed in the city in over 20 years.

Mass timber on Surrey’s horizon
Vancouver developer Adera has announced plans to build Surrey’s first mass timber residential condominium residence, to be located on the southeast corner of 105th Avenue and 132nd Street in Surrey City Centre. The asyet unnamed pair of six-storey buildings and plaza will consist of 248, one- and two-bedroom homes with an emphasis on costeffective floorplans that provide affordable home ownership options for first-time buyers and young families. It’s a great location near two elementary schools, SkyTrain, shopping, restaurants, and parks. Visit Adera.com for more information as it comes available.

New homes planned near BCIT
A proposed joint venture between the Musqueam Indian Band, the Tsleil-Waututh Nation, and Aquilini Development could see some 5,000 new homes plus a 450,000-squarefoot film studio coming to the 40-acre Willingdon Lands, located on the southwest corner of Canada Way and Willingdon Avenue.
The development proposal was presented to the City of Burnaby on Nov. 23 and will now enter a phase of public consultations. If approved, this master-planned community will incorporate a First Nations cultural centre, a medicine garden and an outdoor hearth where indigenous nations and the wider community can gather for learning and shared celebrations.
Housing types are anticipated to include leasehold strata, market and affordable rentals, live-work units, and a much-needed daycare centre.
