MEET THE COACHING STAFF Head Coach Jessica McBrayer

Jessica McBrayer is entering her first season as Wallace State’s women’s basketball coach after serving in an interim role during the 2017-2018 season. McBrayer, 30, led Wallace State to a 23-8 record and an Alabama Community College Conference (ACCC) semifinal appearance as the interim coach last season. Under McBrayer’s guidance, the Lady Lions finished with an 11-1 record at home and surpassed the 20-win plateau for the sixth time in seven seasons. Before inheriting the interim role, McBrayer served as Wallace State’s top assistant coach for three seasons, including helping the Lady Lions make a NJCAA Division I national tournament appearance in 2014-2015. McBrayer played at Wallace State under Hall of Fame coach Larry Slater during the 2007-2009 seasons after leading Hartselle High to the AHSAA Class 5A title game in 2007 during her senior year. McBrayer and her husband, Michael, live in Cullman with their daughters, Kinsey, 15, and Brantley, 8.
Assistant Coach Tim Bellmon
Tim Bellmon is entering his fourth season at Wallace State and first with the Lady Lions. Bellmon brings 25 years of experience coaching, 18 of them at the collegiate level. He coached at Richland College 2000-2004 (Dallas, TX), Paul Quinn College 2004-2008 (Dallas, TX), Wiley College 2008-2009 (Marshall, TX) and Texas Wesleyan University 2009-2014 (Forth Worth, TX). He was named Red River Conference Coach of the Year in 2008 as Head Coach at Paul Quinn College. Bellmon has been a part of seven conference championships, has coached 35 All-Conference players, and eight All-American players. He studied at Alabama State University 1987-89 and Auburn University 1989-92. He has one son, Tyson.
WSCC Women’s Basketball Program Highlights: • 6 Alabama Community College Conference Championships • 5 appearances at NJCAA Division I National Tournament • 3.39 GPA compiled during the 2017-18 academic year, leading the ACCC • 100+ alums who have transferred to Division I programs • Multiple ACCC Coach of the Year recognitions • Team earned the Alberta Lee Cox Sportsmanship Award at the 2015 NJCAA Tournament Wallace State Cheerleading Highlights: • 2 UCA National Championships (2004, 2006) • Multiple Top 5 National Competition finishes • Scores of cheerleaders have gone on to cheer for Division I programs 5

Stefany Pate Keisler has led the WSCC Cheerleading program since April 2016, including a 4th-place finish at nationals in January 2018 and 3rd-place finish in 2017. Keisler, 29, cheered for the Lions for two seasons as an undergraduate and was part of the national runner-up squad in 2011. She previously cheered for Bevill State. Keisler, a Locust Fork native, earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Communication Management from UAB. She also works with the Wallace State Fine and Performing Arts Department and as an adjunct Speech instructor. 8

MEET THE COACHING STAFF Head Coach John Meeks, 256.352.8365, john.meeks@wallacestate.edu
Wallace State men’s basketball coach John Meeks enters his ninth season with the Lions in 2018-2019. One of the most successful and longest-tenured coaches in the Alabama Community College Conference, he has compiled a 151-105 record with the program, advancing to the postseason in six of eight previous seasons. Meeks, 35, has led Wallace State basketball to a pair of ACCC/Region 22 tournament championships (2014, 2012) and two ACCC regular season titles. Meeks was named the co-ACCC North Division Coach of the Year in 2015 and was named the 2014 ACCC Coach of the Year after the Lions finished as wire-to-wire conference champions. Prior to his Wallace State career, Meeks spent two seasons as the head coach at Louisburg College in North Carolina, where he went 51-15 and guided the Hurricanes to the NJCAA Division II tournament, where they won their first ever national tournament game.
Assistant Coach Collin Dimitroff
Collin Dimitroff, 24, enters his first season as a Wallace State assistant coach. Dimitroff, who is originally from Livonia, Mich., prepped at Fort Zumwalt South High School in St. Peters, Mo., where he played varsity basketball for two years and won a district championship during his senior season. After high school, Dimitroff served as a student manager at Missouri State University under head coach Paul Lusk. After performing most manager duties his first few years, Dimitroff handled video coordinator responsibilities for two seasons at Missouri State, while pursuing his undergraduate degree. Also while in college, Dimitroff was the head coach for the Yanders Law AAU program 16u team. He earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Missouri State with an emphasis in sales.
Assistant Coach Andree Thomas
Andree Thomas enters his first season as a Wallace State assistant. Thomas, 28, joins the program after spending two seasons coaching at Impact Academy in Sarasota, Fla. Prior to that coaching stop, Thomas spent two years coaching at Cornerstone Christian Academy in Cleveland, Ohio. Thomas played basketball for Howard University in Washington D.C., before transferring to Virginia State. He earned his bachelor’s degree in health and physical education from Virginia State, which is located in Petersburg, Va. Thomas is originally from Lansing, Mich. WSCC Men’s Basketball Program Highlights: • 3 Alabama Community College Conference Championships (all since 2010) • 3 NJCAA Division I National Tournament appearances (all since 2010) • 3.48 Team GPA earned Lions the 2017-2018 NJCAA Academic Team of the Year distinction for the best men’s basketball GPA in the country • 14 consecutive years a Lions basketball player has signed with a Division I program • 2 NJCAA 1st-team All-Americans (Cory Cooperwood and L.A. Farmer, who both accomplished it twice) 12
