28th April 2014

Dear Parent/Carer HMI Monitoring visit – Tuesday 29th April 2014 You will recall that during November 2013 the school underwent an Ofsted Inspection and following the result of the inspection the school would receive regular monitoring visits from HMI (Her Majesty’s Inspectors). Our first monitoring visit took place on 31st January 2014 and we were very pleased that the school’s plans were indeed fit for purpose and we were exceptionally pleased with the content of the report from the visit. During the Easter Break we were informed that HMI, Susan Wareing, will be visiting school on Tuesday 29th April to carry out her second monitoring visit. As part of the monitoring visit HMI Susan Wareing would like to know what you think about the school since changes were implemented in November 2013 and January 2014. Your views about the school are important to us If you are a registered parent or carer of a pupil you can tell HMI, Susan Wareing, your views about the school by completing Ofsted’s online survey, Parent View. Parent View asks for your opinion on 12 aspects, including the progress made by your child, the quality of teaching, dealing with bullying and poor behaviour. To register your views, you will need to provide your email address, which will be held securely. It will not be used for any purpose other than providing access to the online survey. We nor Ofsted will have access to any email addresses. Please complete the online survey by 11am on Tuesday 29th April 2014 as this will give HMI, Susan Wareing time to consider your views. However, all online response that are completed during the visit will be considered. Should you wish to provide written comments these should be sent to the school in a sealed envelope, marked private and confidential and addressed to HMI Susan Wareing. Thank you in advance for taking the time to complete the online survey. Yours faithfully

Mrs Amanda Cawood Headteacher
