As a parent you would have received a letter from the school informing you of their intention to explore the benefits of opting out of Local Education Authority funding. An informal consultation is currently taking place to seek your views on whether the school should become an Academy or not. It is important that all parents participate in this consultation but many feel they don’t know enough about Academies and the consultation process to make an informed decision.

Tuesday 19th February Main Hall Wallasey School Birket Avenue 7.30pm All parents, carers , staff and members of the local community who have questions or concerns about Academies are welcome to attend this meeting.
