BEST SUMMER EVER SUMMER 2021

WALLINGFORD FAMILY YMCA

In an ever changing world where there is a need to rely on technology, I believe it's more important than ever for children to have an outdoor, social, summer camp experience. From their interactions with friends on the ball field during a game of kickball to creating a group skit to showcase at the end of a session in front of the whole camp, it's these skills that help to build character, form lifelong friendships, and create long lasting memories. Throughout the year, we have followed DPH and OEC guidelines that have made sure we can have the safest experience possible while still creating a fun summer to remember. This camp season will look similar to the last as we continue to maintain smaller groups, social distance and wear our masks. Guidance will change as we near the summer and as we are updated, you will be too. These updates will be posted first on the Camp Ulbrich Facebook page, so don’t forget to follow us to get the most up-to-date information. Our expectations for this year are the same as they always are. Our counselors will continue to be role models for our campers, providing a safe and magical camp experience for all. Our session themes and events will be high energy and encourage participation from all. You can even bet we will be sillier than ever! We’re even going to have a brand new playscape for our campers to use and we can’t wait to show it to you. I encourage you to join us and be a part of the magic yourself. We're going to have THE BEST SUMMER EVER and I certainly THANK YOU Ulbrich Steels & look forward to seeing you all in June. Specialty Metals for helping us get our new PLAYSCAPE See you at camp! for Summer 2021!

“At a time when children needed camp the most, you guys really stepped up to the challenge. Camp Ulbrich has been a wonderful experience and I cannot thank you all enough for your dedication and hard work.”

“Thank you for making the summer of 2020 memorable and special. We feel so comfortable and safe having our children attend Camp Ulbrich. Words can’t express our gratitude and appreciation for making camp a possibility and reality this summer!”

“Our family cannot thank you enough for providing an extraordinary summer for our daughter. The COVID isolation was very hard on her, and she truly was depressed while in home isolation. Watching her in April, May and June compared to July and August, your team has helped her with the social outlet and creative play she needed daily. And I can’t express my appreciation enough.”
