Senior Hotline

For help with general questions about what stores are open, where to find information, how to get transportation and how to navigate online services call the Senior Hotline at (925) 943-5852 or email cpcc@walnut-creek.org. Calls are answered Monday - Friday between 9am - 1pm, but you can leave a message after hours and your call will be returned.

Senior Transportation Program

The Transportation Program provides rides to adults 60+ or those with disabilities/ health conditions, allowing them the freedom to get where they need to be within the borders of Walnut Creek. The City of Walnut Creek Art + Rec is utilizing the Lyft Pass with Lyft (a ride sharing app) to expand its transportation services. This is in addition to the Mini Bus Program that will be operating on a fixed route and schedule. There are two memberships the All-Access Pass and the Concierge Pass, both include access to the Mini Bus Program. Neighbor Express - Free Grocery Delivery

Anyone in Walnut Creek who is at extra risk from COVID-19 can request a delivery at walnutcreek.neighborexpress.org. Deliveries can include a custom shopping list of groceries and household essentials. Need help filling out the forms? Call us at (925) 943-5852.

Neighbor Express - Free Library Book Delivery

Homebound seniors are now able to request delivery of library books from the WC Downtown location. Reserve books from the Walnut Creek library at ccclib.org. Once you receive an email confirmation that your books are available for pick up, request a delivery at walnutcreek.neighborexpress.org/request. Call us at (925) 943-5852 with questions.
