VENETIAN PASTRY CLASS
As we know, the central theme of Expo 2015 will be the food (Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life), in all its expressions: The site will host four thematic areas. These range from Pavilion Zero, which traces the history of humankind via its relationship with food, to the Future Food District, which explains how technology will change food storage, distribution, purchase, and consumption. Then there are the areas of the Children’s Park, where the young folk can learn about the themes of Expo Milano 2015 while having fun, and the Biodiversity Park, a large garden in which a number of our planet’s ecosystems are reproduced. In Milan itself, at the Triennale museum, will be Arts & Foods, an exhibition exploring how the relationship between food and art has changed over the centuries.
There is therefore seemed appropriate to broaden our range of dining experiences, offering, in addition to the already proven course of Venetian cuisine (and winetasting tours), a lesson in Venetian pastry.
Playful and joyous occasion then to learn how to make typical sweets of Venice, in a private house, a stone's throw from Place San Marco; provided, inter alia, of a wonderful roof terrace overlooking the rooftops, where you can relax and enjoy the pastries freshly created!
The proposal may also be an opportunity for family to fun with the kids, or for small groups of friends also interested in the sweet side of the Venetian gastronomy. The lesson is carried out for a minimum of 2 persons, up to a maximum of 6.
Experience a different Venice, off the beaten track.
