• Currently holds the position of Acting Country Director for Trade - UK Department for Business and Trade (DBT) at the British Embassy Cairo.

• Since 1999, has been playing a key role in promoting British commercial interests and supporting British companies to win business in the Egyptian market. Increasing awareness within the Egyptian government and key stakeholders of the UK strengths and capabilities and available UK financing options. Managing strategic relationships with key stakeholders in Egypt & the UK including UK investors in market and driving a strategy to attract new British investment to Egypt as part of the UK commitment to become the largest G7 investor in Africa.

• Prior to that, worked as Research and Marketing Manager at the South Korean Trade & Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) - South Korean Embassy in Cairo for 8 years promoting South Korean products and services.

• Holder of Advanced Certificate in Int’l Trade - Professionalism in Trade Qualification from the Institute of Export, UK - December 2004 and Bachelor’s degree in Management Sciences and Business Administration - July
