Milan is more and more connected to the global dimension, and it is the most open Italian city, where changes and different cultures are welcomed. The urban core of Milan must be seen in relation to an extensive territory, yet its character is very precise and comes from a long and complex history.

The project area is placed in a very important position that Links between two realities and different phases of realise that show very different characteristics. To be better understand these two steps of formation and genesis of the city it was very important to study the type of spaces that were found within the urban fabric.

The evolution of railway staion of Milan 1801

Currently we find ourselves living in increasingly dense and constructed spaces, in which open space is often and willingly nonexistent, if not present in small clippings of territory, generated almost by chance; for these reasons these spaces must be safeguarded and protected as they can be able to offer new realities and a better quality of life. Often the solution is to subtract, to leave free instead of proceeding to a continuous and constant construction, which often results uncontrolled and helps to generate even more narrow and less pleasant spaces.

The project area, the old port of call Romana, is in fact a great urban void within the dense and rich Milanese fabric and stands as a sort of fracture, of wound between two parts of the city that originated and generated according to diametrically opposed principles: to the north, the most historic part of the city, characterized by residential buildings with prevalent height development and court typology, while, to the south, there is the most industrial part and that originated in an almost casual way, without precise logic and, therefore, turns out to be less compact and homogeneous.

The Functions and Building Density

UNDERSTING OF SITE

This different type of space is mainly due to the settlement principles that characterized the urban evolution of the city of Milan, as the northern part is the result of a well designed and studied project and was generated through well-defined principles and hierarchies; it is in fact the oldest and most historical part, still contained within the last ring road. While in the south the building has undergone a process that is often uncontrolled, in which the presence of low buildings and industrial use.

The Projects Following the analysis that led to the understanding of public spaces emerged, right away, as the part to the north of the city was mainly composed of spaces defined as "private" in the sense that they are often enclosed within closed courts and that for this formal reason do not maintain great relations with the city and the urban fabric; while, on the contrary, in the southern part there are more "public" spaces and therefore they are in a state of openness towards the city itself. Base on the needs and future possibilities in the site, our aim is to create a new urban meeting place between city and sub-urban in such a “boundaryarea.Since we want to bring city to the site, enhance the permeability in a north -south direction ,we highligh the mainly connection from outside to inside and give more public space for nowdays city life .

The Connection Point Between Urban and Sub-urban

From the analysis of sections that led to the understanding of public spaces emerged, as the part to the north of the city was mainly composed of spaces defined as "private" in the sense that they are often enclosed within closed courts and that for this formal reason do not maintain great relations with the city and the urban fabric; while, on the contrary, in the southern part there are more "public" spaces and therefore they are in a state of openness towards the city itself.

In order to patch the physical gap in the site ,we creat landscape cover throug the site which also give back more space for site .Also when citizens througt the site they can experience more different moment in this area.so finally our site was shape by the city and also involve in the local scale .

Atlantic seaside-Porto-Portugal It’s a public palce was be developed in major Public park(Parque da Cidade), in a surprisingly abandoned area - facing the Ocean andMatosinhos city - in the Northwest town. The project where they can for commerical exhibitions and

Porto’s somewhat Atlantic limit of

aims to creat a place for people join together and hang out,but also and cultural, like talks, concerts, workshops.

The program propose a building in selected area that will work as entrance to the park, that can protect people from the rain or other climate aggressions.A contemporary Multifunctional Dome that links with the surrounding urban space and relates with the natural landscape. Also green space work as a belt that bring people from cityside to natural seaside .

03 URBAN AND LANDSCAPE REGENERATION-morimondo-ITALY The project area is part of a very interesting environmental and landscape system characterized by waterways, historic centers and monumental constructions (but also unused and deteriorated buildings), natural protected areas, intensive agricultural activities, proximities with important urban contexts. In this scenario it is possible to work on a very contemporary issue, that is how to obtain a resilient regeneration of rural areas able to guarantee the permanence of the environmental, cultural and landscape values, but also the economic sustainability of the transformation. Rural regeneration is one of the major "Societal Challenges" in EU politics because phenomena like sealed soil, industrial expansion, increasing of logistic infrastructures, crises of traditional agricultural activity, loss of biodiversity due to intensive rural activities have produced in the last years a progressive abandoning and a degradation of buildings and landscape.

04 RIVERSIDE-ARCHITECTURE -PIACENZA-ITALY The project imagined an ideal situation for connecting the historical city in the front of the railway station with the po river.the power station is demolished, the highway is replaced by underground express path, and therailway station is renovated.these three steps solve the most difficult problem in our site:the noises, the block, the unsafety, the pollution, and unaccessibility,in condition of this situation, our project promote an active new musical-riverside urban area. Po river has both positive and negative effect on piacenza.the flood is aninevitable problem for the city,as it drowns the riverbank behind theembankment every year.however, the river provides a natural space with large area of green and trees;it also attract residences in piacenza to gothere to have a relax time. thus,we bring the river into the city, passing through the railway. It is suggested that the city need a new auditorium.as a large scale cutural facility,it needs large area of space with convenient transportation.it would be a new attraction for the city.thus, the auditorium will be the newattraction node for the city. The new water way comes across to the railway station.the railway lines block the new part of the city with the ancient city.we build a new platform over the railway which connects the both sides of the railway.at the sametime, the blocks are the new city parts with commerce, culture and residence.
