The blocks are generated at the same time according to three logics: according to the population data, the size and height of the blocks are restricted by forced arrangement, and different building modules are divided according to the age of the population; the cultural axis and the canal axis are placed in the building to deepen the humanistic quality of the base;

In order to conform to the ecological theme, a vertical agricultural system was set up at the activity level. The intelligent vertical ecosystem built with traditional wooden frames as the framework liberates the available ground area from the vertical. The large-scale vertical agriculture also provides a space for production activities for community residents. Residents can carry out some social activities by working on the farm to enrich their relaxed life. The circular trains in the community intersect each other from the wooden frames, connecting the entire community landscape with each other, and it also makes it easier for residents to reach various areas of vertical agriculture. Some indoor greenhouses are also set up on the lower level of the vertical farm to provide more conditions for certain crops.

CULTURE
WENCHANG PAVILION
To protect the prosperity of the city, Wenchang Pavilion is a kind of traditional Chinese sacrificial building built in 1576 with brick-wood structure. As the most important traditional building in this area, it’s used as the starting point of the cultural axis, revitalizing the city entrance space.
Where should the future of the city develop? When we face a strange and familiar city, we always ask the same question. Now, in Yangliuqing, Tianjin, an urban demonstration area aimed at equality, selfsufficiency and cultural heritage has been created.
THEATER As a part of the cultural axis, the theater is used as the cultural carrier to reproduce the historical and cultural development of Yangliuqing.
Market Fair
Theatre
As the end of the cultural axis, the theater plays a role in gathering all kinds of people and combining traditional theater culture with modern technology. The metal plate facade can mirror the surrounding scenes and deepen the festive atmosphere.
As the collective memory of the city, the market is the place with the most profound atmosphere during the Festival. The double-storey market provides a strolling space with a suitable scale. Combined with the canal, it becomes an important node for awakening people’s festive memories.
ROAD
Through INNOVATION (LED display, holographic projection) and PRESERVATION (preservation of historical buildings) to achieve the greatest respect and inheritance of culture.
07
PROJECT ONE
CULTURE In order to preserve the historical characteristics of Yangliuqing to the greatest extent, and at the same time meet the cultural consumption needs of residents in the community and foreign tourists, a riverside market has been set up in the riverside area. As an important historical heritage, the canal regularly holds cultural activities such as dragon boat races. During the festival, some traditional activities such as dragon and lion dances are also held in the market. Meanwhile, the market can also serve community agriculture and conduct regular exchanges and sales of plants.
RIVERSIDE MARKET The riverside market is used to bring vitality to the entire river bank, weaken the sense of boundary between the building and the river bank, and enrich the cultural life of residents.
RIVERSIDE MARKET The market is stacked in modular combinations, including catering, sales, entertainment, planting and other functions.

NATURE In order to conform to the ecological theme, a vertical agricultural system was set up at the activity level. Some indoor greenhouses are also set up on the lower level of the vertical farm to provide more conditions for certain crops.
09
INTELLIGENT FARM The wooden frame uses the traditional Chinese tenon and tenon structure, the vertical farm is mainly assembled and integrated, and different crops use different vertical frames.

2 BAKERY& HOUSE
The design takes baking as the core, adopts the traditional "front store and back house" design layout of the base, and uses the courtyard to connect the functions of the bakery and residence. The shifting experience of changing scenery brings guests a sense of collision between modernity and tradition. When baking becomes the core of life and work, the warmth in it can not only soothe life, but also soothe people's hearts. 2017 INDIVIDUAL SITE: YANGZHOU,CHINA

3 PRISON REDESIGN
A few decades later, we started to think about the definition of prison again. Does the prisoner have to be isolated from the world? Should prisons stay away from the crowd? For me, the answer is no. If a choice must be made, then I hope to rebuild a prison in the center of the city, and its definition will be reshaped. It can be either a prison or a paradise—— a green paradise in the city. What's more, it will no longer be a confinement cage, but an idyllic. 2019 INDIVIDUAL SITE: SHANGHAI,CHINA

Meeting minutes about the redesign of Tilanqiao prison Location: Introduction
China - Shanghai - Hongkou
6
Tilanqiao Prison in Hongkou district is Shanghai’s only downtown jail, and the only prison based in a major Chinese city. With a history stretching back over a century, it was once the largest prison in the world, featuring in many films, while its tough reputation led to it being known as the Alcatraz of the Orient.

Contagious diseases are easily spread in the prison . In 1934 there were only 2,925 cells between its 6,000 inmates. Tuberculosis was found in nearly 65 percent of long-term prisoners, while violence and discipline were enforced by use of long batons.
The routine schedule of the prisoners are the same for both weekdays and weedend except that weekend has no work or activities to do and has no meeting session. The daily repetition of life makes them lose the interest of life

4 INSTANT MARKET
In the era of the epidemic, the Chinese government has vigorously developed a "market stall economy" plan, but the unplanned market has also brought various problems, so large-scale stall facilities and management methods are essential.

Disadvantages The original stall lacks public management, Unregulated stalls will generate a lot of garbage, so it will cause serious health problems.
As the stalls are not planned in a unified manner, the formats of the stalls are different, which causes chaos and unsightly urban streets and affects the image of the historical streets of the Bund. The chaotic stalls lead to chaotic traffic on the entire street, affecting the normal passage of pedestrians and vehicles.
Standardization Modularization The stalls have a low threshold and the stall owner’s real-name authentication allows customers to shop and provide a guarantee of safety. If the quality of the goods sold by the stall owner, the words and deeds of the stall owner, and the hygiene of the stall are not in place, the platform needs to control the stall owner.

Facility booking page
In order to facilitate the stall owners to set up the stalls, an APP for renting transport drones and shelves is designed.
APP provides positioning service, providing pick-up point location can be directly picked up by transport drones, reducing freight costs, and saving time more conveniently.
Registering the sof tware requires the basic information of the vendor, which can be used after certification, which makes the market more secure.
Although location services make transportation more convenient, due to the limitations of drone technology, long-distance delivery cannot be achieved very well, so it can only serve stall owners within a limited distance.
I n a d d i t i o n to t h e b a s i c information of the stall owner, this page mainly collects information about the stall, the type of goods placed on the stall, the specific stall time, etc., through the overall information coordination, to achieve the planning of the stall.
After the basic information is set up, the facility can be reserved for use. According to the stall owner's stalling needs, the amount of goods set up, etc., the stall owner can choose the number of transport drones and shelves that he wants to make an appointment. In order to achieve a certain point of service, improve efficiency.
· The software covers the basic information of the renter, cargo information and leased quantity, etc. Online information through the APP is also more convenient for stall management. · APP requires real-name registration and makes market management more convenient. Due to stall demand, only certified stall owners are provided.
The UAV positioning system reduces the communication cost between the platform and the stall owner.
While the stall owner makes an appointment for himself, the APP will also provide some suggestions on appointment requirements.
Process 03 Drone arrival
01 Drone departure
According to the number of reserved shelves, the drone will stop and land on the designated shelf on the platform for temporary storage of goods according to the requirements of each customer. At the same time, the drone will stay on the center shelf briefly.
Drones can be freely combined based on APP data, but due to technical limitations, workers are required to manually take off the drones.
