Coke Studio Africa is back, this time bigger and better. This project has been the talk of the town for the last one month and a half with great social media hype around it.It has brought together well known producers and A-list musicians from various parts of Africa. There will be 16 countries participating as compared to the last season where they were 11. This particular edition will broadcast in more than 30 countries across Africa which now includes artists from South Africa, Rwanda, Angola, Zimbabwe, Togo, Madagascar, Mauritius, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Nigeria, Ghana, Mozambique, DRC, Ethiopia and Cameroon. The last season featured Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Nigeria, Ghana, Mozambique, DRC, Ethiopia, Cameroon, Cote d’ Ivoire, & Togo since South Africa had its own edition. As seen in previous shows, Coke Studio inspires and introduces Africa’s greatest music talents to a new and wider audience through interaction, collaborations and cooperation amongst musical artists, while also building a strong brand connection with Africa’s young and growing population. The African continent is known for its amazing music talent in communities, cities and countries, and Coke Studio Africa gives these musicians more exposure, while enabling, collaborating and cooperating to create inspirational new sounds.
