Iyanya EP Signature Review

Iyanya was in Kenya recently to promote his new EP Signature which has been causing ripples on the music scene. He has many accolades to his name and is known for his infectious lyrics, popular dance moves and deadly beats. He has really grown and matured in his music and has become a master of his own craft. Having teamed up with Mavin Records in partnership with the Temple company, this 8 track mixtape features songs like ‘Upto Something'- which also features Don Jazzy and Dr Sid that talks of his comeback and why Mavin crew are here to stay in the music industry, 'Baby Answer'-which is actually a love song to the lady of his dreams. Other songs on the mixtape include ‘Hold On’, ‘Bow for you’, ‘Nobody has to know’,’Celebrate’,’Not Forgotten’ featuring Poe and ‘Odoyewu’- which is ghanian dialect meaning ‘My Love My Life’. As compared to past projects or club bangers he has done in his past, we see a more composed and softer side of Iyanya which not many people knew about.
