Stanley Vs Enow Album Review:
When it comes to HipHop,Stanley Enow aka “Bayangi Boy” is no stranger to the Hip hop scene, known as the ‘’King Of Gold”, he has stamped his foot on the African music scene as the G.O.A.T of the showbiz industry. Going by the stage name “King Kong”, he is undoubtedly the winning champion and a force to reckon with as nothing scares him to stand out with his artistry. Since the release of his first album-Soldier Like My Papa, the song “Hein Pere” helped him rise to fame and made him rise to fame and made him the best rapper in Africa, winning many accolades. Fast forward to November 22nd 2019,he released his second studio album-Stanley Vs Enow which has been doing very well on all digital platforms and to make things even better, he just released a music video featuring Diamond Platnumz and Ariel Sheney called “My Way Remix”, which has been doing very well and has gained a lot of views on YouTube as well as fans reacting well around the world for its celebration of the love between west and central Africa. This particular album features huge A-list artists like Fally Ipupa, Pit Baccardi, Daphne, Joy, the legendary Martin Camus Mimb and Petit Pays. The various styles of music blended on this album are benga, afro-fusion, afro-beats, kwaito, Lingala sang in francanglais, Noushi, Swahili and Lingala. The songs that really stand out for me are “oh yeah” featuring Petit Pays because of its upbeat feel that has caught a wave with dancers all over the world, Love featuring Fally Ipupa are both masters of love affairs, Cham Cham featuring Joy which is a feel good song in a cleverly weaved benga style,OMG which stands for “oh my God” as Stanley expresses his love and desire for a certain woman he admires, and Glory which is a song about Stanley’s transition from rags to riches, and is the first and only gospel song close to his heart, as it sums up his life struggles and how he got to make an impact with his music for himself and the people of Cameroon, literally giving God the Glory for blessing him and turning his life around.
So, there you have it, go out and purchase the album on all digital platforms including Deezer, iTunes on Apple Music, Spotify, Qobuz, Google Play and Boomplay and celebrate Stanley Enow’s best project this year.
