On February 13th, 1835, in the small Indian village of Qadian, a man was born to a well-known and noble family. His name was Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmadas. At the age of forty he received a revelation from Allah and in 1891 A.D. he claimed to be the Promised Messiah.
Allah had told Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmadas that it was he, whose coming and appearance was predicted by the prophets of great religions.
Allah had shown him through revelations that Jesusas had passed away and would not be physically coming back. However, Allah had said He would send someone like Jesusas, who would also have the same purpose as Jesusas of being a prophet, and this person was Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmadas himself.
The Promised Messiahas also said that he was a follower of the Holy Prophet Muhammadsaw, and his purpose was to spread the Holy Prophet’ssaw message of Islam to the whole world.
