All art is based on the sensitivity, and essentially in sensitivity. The sensitivity is not transferable. To convey to others what we feel, and that is what we seek in art do we have to break down the feeling, rejecting what it is purely personal, enjoying it which, while being individual, is nevertheless likely to Overall, therefore, understandable, I do not tell already by intelligence, but at least the sensibilities of others. By Fernando Pessoa ( Portuguese poet, writer, literary critic, translator, publisher and philosopher) Summer is so close and we can taste it, which means the sun is out, and we all got very excited and inspired about it to create a new art works. How better to get ready than to draw inspiration from some scenes that we have seen on streets? Or even do from our emotions and imagination? The exhibition Summer Salon captures all of the spirit of the lights and colors of the Summer. There is an international art group, and artists are from: Australia, Brazil, Canadรก, France, Portugal, Spain and USA. And they all will represent very well their own countries.

The figures in my work represent daily tasks. My inspiration is drawn from the ingrained emotions of ordinary activities that we are immersed in. My painting has to be authentic and intuitive, representing emotions. To me, working with figures is a very intimate process that leads to self discovery. When I'm painting, I feel like floating within my interior, my soul. It's a personal statement the body cannot hide. My artistic process is very spontaneous. The subjects are completely relaxed with no hint of selfconsciousness, most of them are faceless, or with subtle emotional expressions. Curiosity and imagination are awaken by figures, abstract forms, and incomplete details, inviting the observers to explore their inner world.

“Painting is a pleasure. Painting is my life. It was difficult to balance the logical and more emotional, intuitive and creative sides of my personality but I have found it through painting. When an idea comes to me for a painting I feel the pleasure of creating something. Then, after, in the process of realization there is the tension and rush before the final satisfaction of sharing something of myself with others. While I get pleasure from expressing my inner self through painting a dream or imaging and recreating the world, I have also found that by passing on the twin messages of hope and freedom it is even possible to go beyond reality itself.” Exhibitions: Lisbon (Portugal), S.Paulo (Brazil), Paris (France), Budapest (Hungary), Bratislava (Slovakia) and Vienna (Austria).

Glenda Savard The paintings of Glenda Savard, artist and aerial surveyor, are an explosion of colour. Her work infuses the everyday objects with vibrant, passionate, energetic life. The expressionistic work explores feeling of a subject rather than replication. “I have never speciďŹ cally attempted to follow a trend; the style of my work has come naturally. I choose to be a free spirit and paint with emotion. I like my paintings to stop passers-by who had only by accident caught a glimpse of the picture. What they see should be breathtakingly different, delightfully fresh, something emotionally appetizing and a joy. Her work has been exhibited in numerous juried exhibitions in Canada, Central America as well as in private collections in the USA since 2005. Most recently she was exhibited in the Societe National de Beaux-Arts www.salondesbeauxarts.com exhibit in the Carrousel du Louvre in 2014 and was awarded the Medal D'etain.
