A spontaneous or meditated gesture ... a concrete or indefinitely form ... a human figure that stands out and another one that disintegrates into multiple facets ... the vibrant color, expressive, strong,

used with conviction, perhaps hesitantly or gently applied in delicate veils, sticking , dense

matter, modeled with force or delicately ... the nervous trace ... the broad brushstrokes, intense, the careful drawing of details ... everything is combined, so, on the white fabric or with the formless mass, the artist brings up a new creation: the artwork.

Resulting from a multiplicity of expressions, feelings, unique experiences and accumulated knowledge, each artistic piece is the meeting point between two interiorities, a communion link between the sensitivity of the viewer and the universe of emotions, affections and feelings that spring from the most deep of each artist and reveal themselves through colors, shapes and other plastic elements with their own symbolism. This unique ability to express itself gives the artist, in particular to the Artist Woman the possibility of showing his original way of seeing and understanding the tangible reality or the illusion of dreams and fantasy, in the ceaseless quest to lead the viewer to something that thrills , impact and can be translated into high and unforgettable aesthetic experiences.

In fact, works of art are mirrors of unique interiorities, of yearnings, anxieties, nostalgias and deep desires generated by a talented and creative spirit that participates in a spark of divine creative power. Then, taking advantage of the window opened by the pictorial or sculptural matter, the artist communicates and shares a reflection of the splendor that briefly shone in the depths of his individuality, transforming in an indefatigable and irrepressible way the appeal of the transcendent that mysteriously acts within , giving visibility and expression to what is invisible and imaginary.

Thus, even knowing that the final result of his artistic work will be appreciated by antagonistic sensibilities and by a huge variety of looks, are they curious or indifferent, critical or benevolent, the artist feels the urgent need to challenge the blank canvas and the mass sculptural form that transforms and models to create unique and unrepeatable works. He generates a ambiguous duality of satisfaction and suffering, destined to the communion and sharing of an aesthetic, intimate and profound experience that must emerge in the emotion experienced by those who contemplate them.

Traditional or avant-garde techniques, creativity in the treatment of themes and the use of materials, fertile imagination and irreverence must be translated into works of art which manifest very personal ways of doing things, but always guided by internal coherence, quality , originality, harmony and artistic beauty, making clear a solid learning, a long and well founded path by those who make art their profession. Each work, valuable in itself, enriches those who contemplate it and delights all those who are sensitive to the artistic expression and the deep symbolism that they enclose.

It is all this that we want to achieve with this exhibition "Women in Art" under the experienced and knowledgeable curator of Leda Maria Prado, which continues a project that has been developing for many years, this being its 12th edition in New York.
