Start with a clean, properly filed

a nice turquoise shade as your base. The thinner the coat is, the faster it'll dry. Make sure each coat has thoroughly dried before moving on to the next step.

After several failed attempts at creating my own summer-themed manicure (one of which included covering my nails in sand which unfortunately resulted in a cement-y, glue-like texture: yuck!) , I decided to stick with basics and try different color combos with polish. I finally came up with the Orange Orchid Crush design, which between you and me is a whole lot better than having sand-paper texture on your nails! www.warehouseone.com

Next we're going to create the center

polish for this part instead of a white, but place a dot of either silver or white in the center of your orchid.
Using your toothpick, drag the paint

'V' shape. The legs of the 'V' should come up past either side of your top center flower petal.
You can add a bit of detailing on the
6. petals by adding a fine line of silver
