Amazed by finding these speakers in Maison & Object 2017. It wasn’t long ago we have been given a lecture by designer in Native, studio that designed these speakers for Bowers & Wilkins. Native happened to design one of my favorite headphone – B&W C5. I absolutely adore their design. Beautifully, taking the old B&W speaker re-innovated it into art sculptures.

The maunfacture detailed on this little coffee table drew my attention. The shape of the table is clearly a laminated shape in my eyes. However, it was not make in that way. Rather, the manufacturer breaks the perfect loot with 4 curved pieces which also with its grain goes other direction. It got me wonder what is the decision behind manufacture.
Some old furniture found in Center Pompidou. Even though the shape of chair have not been changed much. The differences made by manufacture processes is very noticable.

My guess on it is something relative to polaristion. Even it was just a simple application, it does create a really unique atmosphere under lighting.
