Warrick Publishing is giving residents a way to honor family members who were or are serving in branches of the United States Armed Forces. This Special Section pays tribute to those who are from Warrick County for their willingness to put their lives on the line in defense of this country in time of war, or to strengthen our military preparedness in time of peace. Families are invited to send or bring in pictures of any service member at no cost.
This tribute section will be supported by the sponsors listed on the pages and by the Standard. Running at the time when the nation observes Memorial Day, the sponsors allow the community to acknowledge the role that each of these service men and women have played in giving us the powerful, free country we live in today.
Memorial Day 2016 takes place on May 30.
