FIRE RESISTANCE TESTING
Warringtonfire offers a comprehensive range of fire safety services, globally. Our services include fire safety engineering, fire testing, fire assessment and product certification. Warringtonfire can help with all aspects of fire and life safety.
Fire resistance tests determine the likely behaviour of an element of construction when subjected to a fully developed fire. We perform tests to determine the functionality of large scale structures, evaluating load-bearing capacity, integrity and insulation performance.
Our business has been built on consistency of service, commitment to our clients and our people, and our growing desire for excellence in our profession. Our dedicated team of engineers and technicians are experts in their field with in-depth local knowledge. We provide every client with a dedicated team consisting of engineers, a project manager and support staff to ensure your project is delivered on time and to budget. When we work with you, we become a part of your team.
Our advanced laboratory has the capability to test both vertical and horizontal constructions to prove fire resistance performance not just under standard heating regimes but also demanding hydrocarbon regimes. In addition to our comprehensive range of standardised product testing, we also conduct many bespoke investigations which range from desktop analysis to complex large-scale projects. Our service offering covers a wide range of standards, including AS, BS, EN, IMO, ISO, ASTM, UL and NFPA.
We have an established and extensive presence in Australia including our NATA accredited laboratory in Melbourne and our consulting offices located in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra and Perth.
Warringtonfire capability for fire resistance testing includes, though is not limited to: · Timber and steel fire doors · Wall and partitions · Glazed systems, curtain walls · Ventilation ducts and dampers · Steelwork protection · Shutter systems · Cavity barriers · Penetration seals · Pipe protection systems · Intumescent seals · Linear gap seals · Electrical cables and wiring systems · Dampers and powered and natural ventilators · Smoke control screens · Smoke doors and curtains · Smoke fans · Bushfire testing · Marine constructions.
THE WARRINGTONFIRE DIFFERENCE Warringtonfire, part of the Element Group, specialises in providing a comprehensive range of independent fire testing, fire safety engineering, fire assessment, certification services across the world. Our depth of technical expertise and wide scope of services deliver solutions for a complex world. Being part of a wider testing, inspection, certification and advisory company, means we are uniquely placed to assist with all areas of fire safety by drawing on our experience and expertise within Warringtonfire.

AUSTRALIA RE ACTION TO FIRE TESTING
FIRE A SSESSMENTS
Reaction to fire tests are used to evaluate the contribution of a material to fire growth and are commonly specified in codes and regulations in both the building and transport sectors. We are set up to evaluate ignition, flame spread, heat release, smoke generation and more. Some tests are smaller in scale and specimens may be samples of material or representative components that may be exposed to a growing fire. Other large scale tests include facades and the room burn test for wall and ceiling linings.
Warringtonfire offer a comprehensive fire assessment consultancy service. Fire assessments range from simple judgements on small changes to a product, through to a detailed and complex engineering analyses of large, sophisticated building systems.
Our reaction to fire testing includes but is not limited to: · AS 1530.3 · AS ISO 9705 · ISO 1716 · AS 3837 / ISO 5660-1 · AS ISO 9239 · AS 5113 · ASTM D5630 · AS 1530.1 · AS 1530.2 FIRE SAFET Y ENGINEERING As architectural design becomes ever more creative, working with the right partner to develop a suitable and fully integrated fire safety strategy has never been more important. Our rapidly growing team of fire safety engineers in Australia has the technical expertise and experience that has proved to be invaluable to the clients that have commissioned us to work on some of the most technically complex buildings and structures in the world. Our fire safety engineering services include: · Fire safety management · Performance solutions plans (FSMP) · Fire safety strategies · Fire brigade intervention · Fire safety National strategies Construction Code (NCC) · Fire risk assessments reviews · Fire hazard identification · Fire and smoke modelling, computational fluid dynamics · Structural fire engineering · Fire safety strategies for (CFD) tunnels and underground · Evacuation modelling and facilities analysis · Inspections for compliance · Fire detection and · Peer reviews and advice. suppression modelling Our sustainable construction solutions help to mitigate risk and protect our client’s reputation.
Our experienced team provide: · Advice on new product ranges or systems to determine the minimum testing required to comply with regulatory requirements, plus enable the assessment of a wider range of products. · Fire assessment reports to address variations to the fire resistance, reaction to fire and bushfire attack levels of products. · Modifications to a tested product or system. · Mathematical and computer modelling to assess variations to a tested product or system. · Structural fire protection assessments on protected steel members and composite construction systems. · Assessments on the performance of a product or a system under specific conditions, which may be read together with a fire engineering report prepared by an accredited fire safety engineer. PRODUCT CERTIFICATION Warringtonfire offers an independent third-party certification scheme, CertifireAU. The scheme provides manufacturers of fire protection products the opportunity to differentiate themselves from non-certified equivalents and promotes long-term confidence for the end users of their products. CertifireAU provides assurance about the performance, quality, reliability and traceability of passive fire protection products. The fundamental benefit of certification for manufacturers is that it gives regulators, specifiers, customers and end users confidence in the performance of their product. It also provides people with an informed choice when purchasing or selecting the product for use.
