Athletic Training Policy and Procedure For Visiting Teams

Ultrasound, Electrical stimulation, moist heat packs and whirlpools are available upon request. If an athletic training staff member does not travel with a visiting team then a letter listing athletes’ names and treatments must be submitted and signed by a Certified Athletic Trainer. Bench Set-up Water, Ice, cups, bio-hazard and emergency equipment are present. Disposable bench towels will be provided for games. Shower Towels will NOT be provided. Make sure your athletes bring their own.

from Cal State Stanislaus Exit the University’s Geer Road Entrance and turn right on Geer Road. Turn left on Monte Vista Ave. and proceed east to Olive Ave. Turn right onto Olive Ave. and go south for 1 1/2 miles and the hospital is on the left. FROM TURLOCK REGIONAL SPORTS COMPLEX Exit the Sports Complex on either Mountain View or North Kilroy to Christofferson Parkway, turn right and go east on Christofferson past the University. Turn right on Olive Ave. and go South for 2 miles and the hospital is on the left.

Hospital Accommodations Under the circumstances a visiting athlete needs emergency medical attention, hospital directions will be provided. If necessary an ambulance will be called to transport the injured athlete. The visiting institution is responsible for transportation if an ambulance is not utilized. Supplies All visiting teams must provide their own athletic training supplies. (tape,etc.)

On-Campus Parking BASKETBALL & VOLLEYBALL

The Department of Athletics assumes no responsibility for any parking violations incurred by visiting teams, officials, or fans.

Spectators & Teams For all events in the Warrior Arena please park in Lot 8 directly in front of the Arena. Parking is FREE, in Lot 8 only, on the day of the event. No team parking permit is required.

MEN’S & WOMEn’S SOCCER, TRACK & FIELD Spectators For all events at the Student Recreation Center please park in Lots 7 or 8. Parking is FREE, in Lots 7 & 8 only, on the day of the event. No team parking permit is required. Team Please park team vans and buses along the curb on Merced Way in areas marked for Team Vans and Buses parking only (blue signs). These curbside parking areas are adjacent to the Student Recreation Complex and Teague Park within walking distances to the baseball and softball fields.

SOFTBALL & BASEBALL Spectators For all events at either the Warrior Softball or Baseball Fields, please park either Lot 7 or Lot 8. Parking is FREE, in these two lots only, on the day of the event. Teams Please park team vans and buses along the curb on Merced Way in areas marked for Team Vans and Buses parking only (blue signs). These curbside parking areas are adjacent to the Student Recreation Complex and Teague Park within walking distances to the baseball and softball fields.

CROSS COUNTRY Spectators & Teams For all cross country events on campus, all parking lots are available but Lot 8 is the closest to the start and finish lines. Parking is FREE, in Lot 8 only, on the day of the event. Please park team vans and buses in Lot 8. Parking is FREE, in Lot 8 only, on the day of the event. No team parking permit is required.

TENNIS Spectators & Teams For all events at the Warrior Tennis Courts, please park in Lot 7 adjacent to the tennis courts. Parking is FREE, in Lot 7 only, on the day of the event. No team parking permit is required.

On-Campus Facilities BASKETBALL, VOLLEYBALL & CROSS COUNTRY WARRIOR ARENA Take the West Monte Vista Ave. Exit off Highway 99 and go East on W. Monte Vista Ave./University Way. Pass the University on your left and turn left on Geer Road. Take the first left, Calaveras Dr., onto campus. At the round-about, veer left and turn right for Lot 8. For Cross Country, the start and finish lines are near Warrior Arena, Warrior Lake and Lot 8.

To park in Lot 7, veer right at the roundabout until you reach the tennis courts and baseball field. For team parking, veer right at the roundabout and park along the curb across from the softball fields designed for team parking.

BASEBALL Warrior Baseball Field Take the West Monte Vista Ave. Exit off Highway 99 and go East on W. Monte Vista Ave./University Way. Pass the University on your left and turn left on Geer Road. Take the first left, Calaveras Dr., onto campus. At the roundabout, veer right at the roundabout until you reach the baseball field where Lot 7 is located. For team parking, veer right at the roundabout and park along the curb across from the softball fields and adjacent to Teague Park designed for team parking.

TENNIS CSUS Tennis Courts Take the West Monte Vista Ave. Exit off Highway 99 and go East on W. Monte Vista Ave./University Way. Pass the University on your left and turn left on Geer Road. Take the first left, Calaveras Dr., onto campus. At the roundabout, veer right at the roundabout until you reach the tennis courts and baseball field where Lot 7 is located. For team parking, veer right at the roundabout and park in Lot 7. No parking permit is required on event days.
