The University of Warwick Library is situated at the heart of central campus. In addition to providing access to an extensive collection of books, electronic and online resources, its layout supports independent and group working with access to multimedia resources in less formal environments. This is complemented by the retention of quiet study space on the upper floors. The Library Services also incorporates the Learning Grid, a flexible, technology-rich, student environment open 24/7, the Teaching Grid, which provides accessible, collaborative support for teaching development, The Wolfson Research Exchange, a dedicated space for researchers to colloborate and the Modern Records Centre which holds archives of national importance archives for the study of social, economic and political history
