This Sunday heralds the Coventry Half Marathon, which goes all through Cov, and even makes its way to campus. It’s too late to sign-up to the Half Marathon itself, but you can sign up to the “Mercia Mile” on the day, as long as you turn up before 9.15am. For more info (e.g. route), see http://coventryhalf.com/ — check this out, as you may find your way around blocked e.g. if you live on Charter Avenue. Go and cheer people on! The Coventry Fun Run is still open for registration. It’s on Sunday 27th June (Sunday at the end of week 9), and you can run either for your own charity, or just fundraise for their central bank. If you want to take part in this 4-mile run, see http://www.coventryfunrun.co.uk/ for more info.
