MASTER BEDROOM Bachelor Architecture – DESIGN STUDIO III Instructor – Ar. Faraz Farooq Individual Work – April 2020
BRIEF Modern bedrooms are spaces which are not only utilitarian, but also have some recreational and aesthetic value. In modern luxury residences, each bedroom is built with its own suite, i.e. a sitting area, a TV area, a walk-in wardrobe/closet, a toilet and a bath, sometimes a study corner, and good views to the outdoors.

People spend a considerable amount of time in. these areas of their homes, specially on weekends and holidays. The modern lifestyle has reduced people to be working in bed till late night on their laptops. The need to get up from the favorite sitting spot does not exist anymore, thanks to features of smart home being commonly available at low prices. The need of the modern lifestyle demands that every space, every design and every product should be extremely flexible in the nature of its use. A bed could be a bed cum sofa, a table could be used for dining as well as studying, a flower vase, could be a reading lamp and a Bluetooth speaker too… and all of this could be voice controlled, a person could print AutoCAD files from their phone, on a printer which is two rooms away, connected on a Wi-Fi network… the possibilities have just begun to unfold. CONCEPT AND LANDSCAPE
CORDIAL
- Soft blues, greens and
greys are ideal for creating a relaxing atmosphere in the bedroom. Keep windows unobstructed to let in natural sunlight when you want it, but be sure that you can pull a shade or pull some drapes so that the same wonderful sunlight doesn't wake you from a deep sleep before necessary. The ability to investigate new ideas while enjoying the relaxed and cordial work environment excited me.

AMBIGUITY
-The quality of being
open to more than one interpretation; in exactness. The concept of ambiguity is generally contrasted with vagueness. In ambiguity, specific and distinct interpretations are permitted (although some may not be immediately obvious), whereas with information that is vague, it is difficult to form any interpretation at the desired level of specificity.
Form The form of the building is evolved by cutting the remaining site in the form of irregular lines form first segregated space and then A combined space . Concept 3d Model

The concept of ‘group housing’ calls for some essential differences from the familiar model of plot housing which one finds generally in new delhi. For plot housing, infrastructural facilities such as roads, drainage, electric supply, water supply, etc. Are made by the housing society/municipal authorities, and each house owner is free to build his house, on a discrete piece of developed land, to his own taste, within the provisions of the building bye-laws.

AFFINITY
- The concept behind the group housing project describes
the various connectivity and attraction towards the group housing projects as it provides so much of confidence in building the future buildings. It also allows the persons affinity towards each other like nature and ecological aspects the building has the feel of organic atmosphere throughout the building and the balconies enhances the natural quality of the building. The site is divided into two main zones the first zone contains the EWS and LIG group housing and the second zone contains the MIG and HIG group housing.
SITE PLAN The site is located in the sector 127 along with sardar Vallabh bhai Patel route and further with the Noida- greater Noida expressway. The site placement and inside the site, the orientation of the buildings is done very efficiently in respect with the annual sun light and wind direction which is from west. It consists of many landscaping elements such as there are various spots for sitting for the public at various places(near end and front of HIG, MIG and LIG building blocks and that too of different designs.
N
