A total of six submissions from deaf artists were received - three from Malaysia, two from Singapore, and one from Jordan. Their proposals were reviewed and deliberations were held.

GoReact WASLI is proud to announce a unique partnership with GoReact to help us achieve ef ciency and excellence in assessing applicant submissions for the WASLI-WFD IS interpreting accreditation. Through GoReact, applicants can submit their interpretation work online from the comfortable setting of their own choice. The raters will access the content online and can provide their assessment directly on the video submissions.

The winner was the Jordanian designer, Mr Hussam Mohammad awwad El Farra. He is a talented designer who has designed many commercial products for over a decade. A round of applause for him designing our beautiful WASLI 2023 conference logo Description: The logo incorporates three emphatic curled shapes encircling an imagined conference room. A set of three dots circling the three shapes was adapted from Obangsaek (오방색), which is the traditional Korean colour spectrum consisting of white, black, blue, yellow, and red. The curved shapes and dots are individually painted with blue, yellow and red. Ten white icons are can be seen imprinted nicely and t in the curved shapes. These represent South Korean cultural elements, such as dress, food, building, music, fan, and dance. The text below the logo uses three colours - blue, red and black. The use of colours is well balanced

WASLI Secretary, Isabelle Heyerick, was invited to report on the work WASLI has done over the 2021 – 2022 period at our National Member BVGT (Association of Flemish Sign Language Interpreters) annual general meeting in January. Our secretary highlighted some of the challenges the pandemic posed and shared some of our achievements. These included the creation of the WASLI deaf and hearing regional representatives’ network, the July online conference, the piloting of the Leadership Modules, and the IS interpreting accreditation scheme. The Flemish colleagues also got a sneak peek at the WASLI 2023 conference logo and are warmly invited to join us in South Korea
