2nd Update on Un-authorized charges from Invicta 8 days later. On Sept 1st Invicta made an un-authorized 112.00 deduction on my watch money account. I fund the account as I sell watches or as I see fit so it was down to 23.00 at the time the charge went through. Bingo 30.00 OD charge! At the same time a 2.95 charge went through and that caused an additional 30.00. Last Wednesday my bank faxed them the statement showing the deduction (they said they didn't do it!) Today they said they would refund the charge but not cover the 2 overdraft charges. Checked my account tonight. No refund, Giving Invicta till 3:30 tomorrow to refund the money, then Wednesday morning I'm filling a complaint with Visa, and the Florida AG. FYI. If you didn't follow the last post on this then they originally charged me the 112 on 8/17/10 for a Venom bracelet that I ordered in Jan of this year. Okay as of today, I got a call from Rebecca. She said upper management refuses to refund my Overdraft charges even though they saw the bank statement and they made the error by charging the debit card. Rebeca offered to give me a pc of jewelry. I am in total dis-belief. I don't know what to do. As of 5:00 tonight the refund still has not hit my account either!
IMO, they just don't give a care about their customers. You are only as good as the next watch you buy from them! In all fairness Rebecca tried! She's the only one who cares at that company. __________________ rbart

I think Invicta customer service has a screw loose. You gave them proof it was their error and they still want to fight you on this. Don't they have the slightest idea the negative publicity is not
worth it. Again it show how bad their customer service is. They just don't care. I take that back, customer service only follows company policy, that comes from management. __________________

Personally I would have given Invicta only 1 day to correct the problem. After that I contact my credit card company and file a complaint. I haven't had your particular issue but I've won every dispute I've filed. You can ask PayPal about that. Keep us in the loop on this. I spoke directly to their billing dept today and the guys said "We're not paying the OD charges, I'll connect you to Macielle and she can explain it" So then I went on hold for 15 minutes and the cell dropped. Called back and after being put on hold for another 15 minutes the cell dropped again. __________________ rbart rbart View Public Profile Send a private message to rbart Send email to rbart Find all posts by rbart Add rbart to Your Contacts #5 09-13-2010, 08:06 PM Genezilla Senior Member Master WatchGeek

I wouldn't put up with it. Your cc company should handle this for you. If not, there's always the AG and the Feds. Small claims court is another option. Genezilla

Maybe I didn't get this right. Let me see, you order a venom braclet for 112 in January giving them your acct to charge for the purchase, correct? you didn't cancel your order, correct? Then in Sept, they fill your order, charge your acct and ship the bracelet, correct? the charge of 112 they run thru od's your acct, correct? If you didn't cancel your January order I don't think you have a leg to stand on, sorry. ridiculous. Another horror story. Hope you get the money plus overdraft charge back. It's the right thing to do. __________________

The fact that the credit hasn't showed up on your credit card account yet may be your credit card company, not Invicta. On most credit cards, charges show up very quickly, but credits may take days to actually show on your account. I agree with most others and think Invicta should refund the overdraft charge if they did make the mistake. I would move up the ladder and talk to someone higher than the supervisor and inform them that you are calling your bank and higher if needed. I would also dispute the charge with your bank and explain to them what happened. __________________ Corvettes & Watches

I think I would raise holy heck with my bank, also. Explain why the overdraft fees occured to a manager. They're the ones making $60 off a mistake. They have the latitude to credit those charges. If they don't give up their huge fees, I would look for a new bank. __________________ Corvettes & Watches

while there can be no argument that the original poster is a victim of an error and is out $172 right now. he is also dealing with a company that has a bad customer service track record. that being said this is not a case of fraud or intentional deception just poor business practices. here in florida(the fraud capital of the u.s.a.) it takes the attorney general's office months to act on obvious cases of fraud totaling tens of thousands of dollars(if not much more) with multiple victims. i strongly doubt that his office would even look at this claim. i've been screwed more times than a cheap whore so i guess i don't react with any great upset or anger. it would behoove the poster to call every couple of days for a couple of more weeks and try to get satisfaction by making nice. once invicta get its act together(if they do) i would appeal to the credit card company for some relief. life is too short to spike your blood pressure over $172. mbgalg View Public Profile Send a private message to mbgalg Find all posts by mbgalg Add mbgalg to Your Contacts #18 Yesterday, 09:53 AM tampa8 Senior Member Super Geek

I think you are barking up the wrong tree with Invicta to pay the OD charges. Perhaps they should, but no way will they pay those fees. If Invicta credited back the $112, great, now take the fight to the bank to reverse those $60 in charges. The manager can make those charges go bye-bye in and instant. Good luck. Eric. __________________

Guys, since when does the bank or the customer pay for a company making an unauthorized withdrawal? Unfortunately this does happen not just with Invicta, but the company will usually ask for proof of the bank charge and pay it. __________________ You mean what time is it now? tampa8 View Public Profile Send a private message to tampa8 Find all posts by tampa8 Add tampa8 to Your Contacts #22 Yesterday, 01:15 PM
