Do you think Eyal is going to respond now that .................
a repair procedure is in place? I thought an official response was forthcoming but now I'm not so sure since the repair issue has been addressed? Maybe Eyal feels this issue has been resolved?! 3 Lastest Threads by waswell Thread How I really feel about Invicta

Eyal emphasized on air how closely Invicta was working with D-D in the development of this design, and obtained the movements from D-D. Then, when the problems came up, on 5-27 Eyal told WatchGeeks that he was working closely with D-D on a solution. HOWEVER, the Owners of D-D have stated that the first time they heard from Eyal was an email on 6-11, and the first "buiseness discussions" with Invicta were not started until 6-14. THAT is not going to be an easy thing to address and I can imagine why it is taking so
long to come out with their official statement. __________________ "When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace" - Jimi Hendrix WatchYaThink View Public Profile Send a private message to WatchYaThink Send email to WatchYaThink Find all posts by WatchYaThink Add WatchYaThink to Your Contacts #3 Today, 09:15 AM Join Date: May 2008 Posts: 107

Not sure if we'll hear a response at this point, but I'm sure folks are still interested in knowing: - Details about where the movements were obtained? Especially since there was so much hoop-la about movements directly from DD. - Who were the "stern" conversations at DD with? - What is the status of "ongoing projets" with DD? - Were all watches missing the "washer"? - Did Eyal have a fun weekend? - and more... knapplink View Public Profile Send a private message to knapplink Find all posts by knapplink Add knapplink to Your Contacts #4 Today, 09:38 AM

It would also be interesting to know if these watches were actually made in Switzerland as stated "Swiss Made" on the dial...it would be reasonable to think that if
the movements were purchased on the secondary market, maybe in China were the watches assembled there too...I wold guess that this could raise some issues with US Customs if that is the case. I'm betting we never hear anymore from Invicta on this, but D-D will make some kind of statement....JMHO NewInvictaGuy View Public Profile Send a private message to NewInvictaGuy Find all posts by NewInvictaGuy Add NewInvictaGuy to Your Contacts #5 Today, 09:39 AM Join Date: Sep 2009 Location: Seattle, WA (and on the road weekly) Posts: 648 Real Name: Steve

According to Jim's sticky post, we should expect a response from Eyal sometime this week. Hopefully, that will actually happen. It's a bit unsettling when the DD folks start saying they have never had a business relationship with Invicta after Eyal has stated he has had direct dealings with DD. My guess is that the root cause of this problem is that Invicta doesn't actually manufacture their watches; someone else does. If I had to guess, it's likely that the "direct dealings" with DD were on BEHALF OF Invicta but NOT BY Invicta directly. That is, whoever actually manufactured these watches probably acquired the DD movements and would be the actual customer from DD's perspective. All speculation aside, I look forward to hearing an explanation directly from Eyal...especially about how his weekend went. steverob View Public Profile Send a private message to steverob Send email to steverob Find all posts by steverob Add steverob to Your Contacts #6 Today, 09:42 AM Join Date: Nov 2008 Location: The Woodlands, TX Posts: 2,585 Real Name: Matt

Yes, a response should be out shortly, per Jim's post. __________________ "God is great, beer is good, and people are crazy." -Billy Currington
