Picked up this grail from GeorgeTheWatchGuy !!

George and I have been friends for several years and not only share a passion for watches, but our tastes are closely alligned. As sometimes happens when that's the case, we ended up doing a trade. My end of the deal is this beautiful Jacques Lemans JL 1-915 Valjoux 7751 automatic chronograph. This deal was great for me as I had yet to own a watch with this magnificent movement - the big brother to the V7750. It has an amazing feature set for an automatic movement including standard time, chronograph with twelve hour elapsed timer, thirty minute elapsed timer, sixty second elapsed timer, twenty four hour time indicator, big day and month, date indicator and phase of the moon complication. The styling of this watch is vintage/classic and this type of design will never go out of style. For me it will be a real go to for business wear. I frequently say that I can and do wear "smaller" watches and find this 40mm case to be great looking on my wrist. The fit and finish is waht you'd expecpt from Jacques Lemans and George has taken exceptional care of the watch with nothing but the signs of normal/gentle wear. I'm really stoked to own this beauty, and very happy to have gotten it from my good friend George. Enjoy the pics!

Congrats on the beautiful timepiece. The 7751 is high on my "list", but so far out of reach. You got your's in a great looking watch. And 40mm is plenty big enough, especially for dress. Enjoy. __________________ " He didn't lose the race, he just ran out of laps."

Brad, congrats on getting such a classy and timeless timepiece! I love everything about it. If it were for me personally, I would have preferred a 42-44mm size case size but hey part of what makes this watch classy and timeless is it's 40mm case diameter. Just beautiful! I hope you get many years of enjoyment out of this timepiece and that it acts as a small reminder of your friendship with George. This is the stuff that us geeks are made of. That is a work of art, no doubt about it. There are many great details on this one, but the dial really gets me. Even though there is a lot going on with it, everything works together perfectly. I caught myself gazing at the closeups for a good amount of time. Congrats on that one my friend, and thanks for the background and great pics. __________________
