Great ..Yet another used and abused watch from Shop. Well..Great. Today my new Lupah Mechanical and Android Purple Espionage arrived. The Espionage was yet another returned box of broken dreams. The watch was fogged under the crystal so the 1st owner did the following : 1. Removed the Lugs and bracelet ( and BENT the pin holding the lug on, then just for good measure left dings near the lug pin holes) I guess he missed with the old hammer. 2. Then he tried unscrewing the rear case back...Now that was a thing of beauty. Completely gouged and scratched the entire back of the watch. The good news was he put all the stickers ( covered with dirt and mangled) back on the watch and sent it back. He did leave all the blue wrapping on the bracelet on and in tact so I guess I should thank him. So..It's come to this. I have gotten to the point where I will accept a returned watch that's in new condition just because it's so painful to go through the return process. But this is something else entirely. This is yet another watch that should have never ever gotten past the "Inspectors". Great ending though...They only had 1 Purple Espionage left in stock. I asked if it can be checked to make sure its new, Shop CS said "no sir". Then I asked if they can pull the last one so I can get it replaced while this one is being returned, Shop CS said " No, only if you pay for it now first". Really...Can I. Yes .... Id like to pay again for a watch that you can't even tell me is new and pay twice for the same watch. And I still have 3 watches from shop being shipped right now... I'm a glutton for punishment I guess. Oh ....I have not opened the Lupah yet...Just not in the right mood and scared stiff to boot. Good news is that one is too new for a return so here's hoping. I'm toasty and tired of this....This is Not the 1st time for the same issue. __________________

Sorry to hear that Jessie.I said before any returned watch should not be put back into the regular inventory until it is inspected and is deemed to be in as new cond. I had something similar happen to me.It is a pain to hev to return what should have never been sent.Good luck getting it resolved. __________________

I think it is unconscionable that they do that. They are just shooting themselves in the foot. I too have received defective returns from ShopNBC as new items, so I will no longer buy from ShopNBCs existing inventory. I will only buy if it is a new item that is just being released, I figure that way the chance of getting someone elses defective return is almost zero. watchingout View Public Profile Send a private message to watchingout Send email to watchingout

Here's to hoping that the person who originally returned that watch has their most cherished and expensive timepiece fall off their wrist and get run over by a steam roller. __________________ Quote: Originally Posted by jskelton You will not become a ninja by wearing one. They also need to get their act together about over selling. My Lupah Mechanical Gold is on backorder with am "Oh were sorry but Invicta did not ship us as many as we thought we were going to get". I am sure I will get someones returned watch after a week or two. __________________

I've had the same problem with an Android from the shop. Seconds hand was floating around when it arrived. I've been scared to pull the trigger on shop watches since. __________________

Sorry to hear that Jessie, that is why I'm buying watches from Shopnbc when they first come out, I can no longer trust them anymore, because of this. They should not be sending these watches out to ANYONE!!! They are just lazy and want to sell it to anyone and don't give a crap who, as long as they don't have it in their inventory anymore. __________________

Yea..I think your right. I'm changing my buying habits because of this. No more will I buy anything other than newly listed items and WOW and others will be picking up the slack. Too bad though. I love Jim and the crew. It's a shame isn't it. I can live with the shipping rates (

even though everyone else if Free) but this same issue over and over. Nope..Can't do it anymore. Dam shame because in both instances I've had in the past Month, they were 100% avoidable as the abuse was clear and obvious. Bummed man...Bummed __________________

I feel your pain! I have only had three returns but, nothing as bad as that. One took almost 3 months to resolve but, eventually all was resolved. Good luck! Bruce __________________ A nod is as good as a wink to a blind horse...

So this is what we are forced to choose from... Either overpay big time for a watch on the first airing, and risk seeing it much cheaper a month later either on the shop, or elsewhere...

OR Wait it out, and get a badly abused watch, and then have to deal with the phone calls, the fighting to get the money credited, and the PITA of having to return the piece... Nice... My son surprised me with an Android spyder for my 50 th bday last week from the shop. The

watch did not have a tag or protective film anywhere on the watch. Obviously it had been returned by another customer, and then sent to me. I took no chances and returned the watch, and followed up with a call to the shop customer service dept. Will see how they handle this. kkinaz View Public Profile Send a private message to kkinaz Find all posts by kkinaz Add kkinaz to Your Contacts #27 Yesterday, 06:35 PM

Yea..That's the real killer. If you are going to be higher priced ( Yea I know they are not always, but they are A LOT) , then at least you can do is give the highest service possible and make sure these things just don't happen. Example...I bought the Invicta Excursion Black MOP watch 2-3 weeks ago. The day after ( really the next day) DOD and Sunday Run had it for $149 ...I paid $240 MEH! I could have sent it back but didn't, why? Because the process is so painful and I don't have the time. Then the watch on shop mysteriously goes UP to $280 for a few days then goes on sale for $197. I now have to call to get a refund and they say it will take a week or more...Uh why. Isn't

this a simple computer in and out transaction for the different price, like any other retailer in the world. Well guess not. So with all that and more all we ask is do not send me someone's damaged and used watch because paying a higher price, paying shipping and getting a damaged used watch is not a good business model. I know some folks will say, just don't buy there if you don't like their service and policies. And yes that is true, but gee wiz why does it have to come to that. Just pay someone to open the box look inside and say " gee this is all scratched and damaged, maybe I should not put this back into inventory". That's not a lot to ask and it's a shame that we even have to. __________________
