Invicta Customer Service - first repair returned NEED TO VENT HERE! I AM PRETTY MAD RIGHT NOW! I have tons of Invicta's. I have finally after a year of buying them, had to send 3 of them in for service. They were all sent in for service in Septemeber. 1) NEW SAN3 from sunday run - the 5040E Chronograph didn't reset at all (hour totalizer) No replacement - had to get a repair 2) Venom OQ - same deal - hour totalizer didn't reset 3) NEW Reserve Pro Diver w/ sandstone from the sunday run - dial was cracked on arrival. (no replacement) Now, I just received the first one back (SAN3 from Sunday Run) which I sent in for service September 3rd; I originally sent it back for a replacement because it was a sunday run watch but alas they were out of stock, so I went the 'repair' route. My excitement was pretty high, until I pulled it open and tried the chronograph by running it and attempting to reset it......

FAIL - the SAME issue, but now in addition to the hour totalizer not resetting, the minute totalizer gets stuck randomly too...... This was purchased in August brand new, sent in for repair at the beginning of September (still new), and NOW IT IS THE END OF NOVEMBER AND IT IS STILL BROKE. I have never even wore this watch yet and the band still has plastic wrap on it. I thought the Customer service issues like these were getting fixed recently...Hopefully the next two watches that I have with them come back fine...NEVER AGAIN WILL I SEND A WATCH TO INVICTA FOR REPAIR. I should have took a refund from them to begin with, after I received a broke watch...quite embarrasing service. I remember when I sent my reactor watch in for service - it was back in less than 10 days. Thanks for hearing me vent! I have no one else to sympathize with dealing with watches, except this forum. __________________

Geez that's terrible man. What a pain in the butt, especially since these are higher end Invicta pieces. I'm not sure what else to say, im speechless __________________ Peter Griffin: "No Lois, World War 5 is so intense it skips over the other 2" ~A Favorite Peter Griffin Moment~ AZinNJ

Mike, totally unacceptable this is the reason I don't buy Invicta anymore. I will probably get in trouble for this comment, but It is what it is and I too have had way too many problems with Invicta that I simply get the run around. __________________

Are you sure none of those can be recalibrated? Sometimes they get out of whack during shipping. Just a thought...... __________________ John

Hey bro.. really sorry about that and understand why you're pissed off. Personally as far as warranties, I don't care if its 1 year or 10 years. Does not affect my watch buying. This is why, most of the time the person repairing the watch/item has no clue EVEN if you write a note explaining the problem. Not a watch but this happened to my $600 Nokia cell phone, still not fixed. Incompetents.... If a watch does crap out, I'm more than willing to take it to a local jeweler to get it fixed. The odds are toooooo high that if it is sent out, it will come back broken and in worse condition. I would have returned it if it was DOA. __________________

This happens 100% of the time. I sent an email to rebecca and hoping she can expedite something for me. __________________

Same thing happened to me Mike. I was out the watch for 4 months and it came back in the exact same condition as it went in. It didnt look like they even touched it for 4 frickin months. I asked for a replacement and Invicta is good at doing that for you. They will give you credit for your original purchase towards another watch they have in their inventory.I will never use their so called warranty again. I will have it fixed by someone that can actually fix it. __________________

Sorry to hear about your trouble with invicta CS.Know that you are FAR from alone. Thanks for venting; you shoiuld be allowed to do that. You and so many other disappointed invicta buyers continue to reinforce my belief that invicta makes an ok $100.00 watch. If it breaks get a local fix or throw it away, it is not worth the 30.00 bucks and three to six monthes in time lost to fix (sometimes the watch comes back the same or even worse). IMHO invicta is NOT about customer service but about sheer volume sold! Can it be any more obvious? BTW I have had my disappointments with Invicta customer service so I do know what I am talking about and I do own more invictas than I would care to admit. Doesn't it seem that there are more problems with the middle to higher end Invictas than the ones that cost less than $200? Of course, Iam wrong a lot of the time. __________________

I have a san 3 with the same, I think, issue. totalizer resets to random positions, I think it's slipping. I rarely use the chrono and like the watch enough that I haven't sent it back, just recalibrated it and leave it. But I did just send another watch in with what should be an easy fix, depending on how that goes will determine what I do with this san3. xenon135 Send a private message to xenon135 Send email to xenon135 Find all posts by xenon135 Add xenon135 to Your Contacts #34 11-23-2010, 01:42 AM

I think that maybe the problem is the thin air affects the ability to think & have proper mental

function & motor skills High in the Swiss Mountains at the Fabled INVICTA Repair Facility where only the best of the best 10% of their watchmakers are able to place their white gloved hands upon the Reserve Level pieces sent in for repair & assembled for sale to us... I truly hope that they get their act together soon & I am sorry that yet another INVICTA Fan has learned things the hard way, as Have I, after I already purchased & own about 100 pieces & most of them are from their high end Reserve Variety. Dont get me wrong I ABSOLUTELY LOVED INVICTA, as one would have to, to purchase & own as many of their pieces as I have/do. They make one hell of a watch for the money but their customer service & repairs have made them much less desirable in my eyes & in many others, just look at the many posts here from their most loyal followers. BEST OF LUCK TO YOU MIKE !!!!!! Regards, reed420 __________________ "Oh Yeah ... I WHACKED it on the air" ... ^^

I chuckle as it happens to everyone. Invicta is not known for fast repairs or good repairs if repaired at all. Good luck with the next two. Hopefully it won't be three strikes. Only too me one... __________________

Oh btw, with my repair, sent same watch in three times, waited nearly 5 months, still didn't get fixed, so they gave me a credit for any watches I wanted in the amount of the one I had bought. They told mento find the watches I wanted and pricing on shop. If they had it in stock, they were mine. I traded 1 for 3. So in he end was satisfied but man it was painful. Again. Best of luck __________________

This is why I now never spend more than $200 on any Invicta. This way I hope I get a few years out of them...if they die I take them to my local guy. If he can't fix them for under $50, in the trash they go. __________________ The beauty of the second amendment is that it will not be needed until they try to take it.
