Senior Member Senior Geek PD 7750 Arrived - But not a Happy Day

PD 7750 arrived in the mail today....was thrilled, my first 7750! Opened the box and love the watch, great design and size....could not be happier.............until... Wound the movement, started the chrono, let it run for a few minutes, stopped the chrono, reset the chrono and.........resets at a different position every time.........

Guess this one is going back.

Guess this one is going back. Call Invicta CS first. They should be able to help you reset the chrono second hand. Here is the link to their number: http://www.watchgeeks.net/showthread.php?t=11 Keep us posted as to how it all works out. Hang in there !!! waswell View Public Profile Send a private message to waswell Find all posts by waswell Add waswell to Your Contacts #3 Today, 01:38 PM

Can't reset the Chrono on the 7750 it has to be done by a watchmaker. True I could sendit to Invicta for reapir but I have an aversion to having to pay for shipping on a watch that came from them broken. I'll sleep on it, but my guess is this one is going back. tao329 View Public Profile Send a private message to tao329 Find all posts by tao329 Add tao329 to Your Contacts

I'd send it back to the Shop as well. You might be able to score one, have it sent to you and basically end up with an even exchange. bluloo View Public Profile

Sorry to hear that, Tom. Are you sure it can't be reset? PM Mehdi and ask. I would think that should be an easy fix. I have reset the chrono with other watches, but never on a 7750. Good Luck. I am sorry you are having problems with your watch. The problem you are having sadly sounds familiar, but not with other 7750 ProDivers, so far. Let's hope we aren't seeing the same chrono reset issue that was present the DD Speedway. Naw...that can't happen, here.

Can it?

It better not. I just got notice that mine has been shipped.

I had that happen with the original SA3 7750. I sent it back for an exchange. I believe that yours is still available so send it back for an exchange. I am sick for you. I sure hope that you can get an exchange. If the watch you want is not available, then try a local watchmaker and just let him look at it and see if it is something that he/she could reset or repair. Just a thought! __________________ Love the Lord your God with all of your heart, soul, mind and strength. And love your neighbor as your self. Have a great day fellow Geeks!
