Watchmaker's bench forum still alive?
Is this sub forum still active? I've not seen posts from Mehdi for some time, but maybe I've missed something. __________________ John

actually,he's hiding. i came on this forum as a last resort. the police ended up contacting mehdi. he's taking watches (including mines) and wont give them back! he makes excuses and waits till 90 days runs out. in the fine print of his contracts, it states that after 90 days the watches become his. dont get me wrong, i think he has sent some ppl their watches back as he's been on this forum for a long time. but he tried to get me to buy mines back! there was even a facebook page warning ppl about him. it turned into a big fuss and that page was shut down and mehdi left the fb world. i emailed him (i have the proof of the ones i sent and the ones he sent back) and he swore up and down that his aunt was having surgery. 6 months later, he said h's other aunt died and would mail out my watches that week! 3 weeks later and nothing. i told him that i took pictures of his website where it stated that it would take 3-5 weeks for the turnaround time. and i would go public with what he;s doing. after that, he changed his number, closed all his email accounts and shut down his website. maybe he is having personal issues, but he should take on watches if he doesn't have the time to fix them! there is someone that i know who had this problem also. last week the police finally tracked mehdi down. we got word that mehdi said he would send all the watches back but i have yet to hear from him. i plan on suing since i know his first and last name with his address since i had to mail my watches out. i'm waiting till the end of april. the funny thing is, mehdi would rant and rave about some of the poor reviews he would get and his friends would back him up...can you believe that he did this to some of those friends? me included? watch buster View Public Profile Send a private message to watch buster Find all posts by watch buster Add watch buster to Your Contacts

This is so disappointing! Who can you trust? There actually are some people here that I trust very much because I have done business with them and they proved to be very trustworthy. __________________ Dulce bellum inexpertis socrates View Public Profile Send a private message to socrates Send email to socrates Find all posts by socrates Add socrates to Your Contacts #12 04-18-2011, 08:35 PM Join Date: Nov 2008 fullautoarmalite

He has always been straight up with me and i don't think this is the time nor the place to air out any body's dirty laundry with him either. __________________

trust is earned, If I deal with someone I do it at my own risk, I see the word watches (plural) if ANYONE
does work for me its a 1 at a time deal. I am sorry for those that got scr**ed over, no one deserves that. __________________ I hear voices in my head...watch voices...screaming...BUY ME!!! Watch Buster you didn't pull any punches I'll tell u that. I remember months ago they were looking for him and they said that he had some family problems as I was writing basically where thiers smoke thiers fire, and didn't know about the other thread at the time I was writing mine. Then after I posted mine I read the one that was being posted as I was writing mine and felt bad and apologized and caught a bunch
of flack for it but I guess I wasn't too far off, if this is true. chitown View Public Profile Send a private message to chitown Send email to chitown Find all posts by chitown Add chitown to Your Contacts #19 04-18-2011, 09:04 PM Join Date: Mar 2009 chitown Location: Tampa Florida Master WatchGeek Posts: 2,680

This sounds like a way to put an end to this or let everyone know the truth and put this to rest, cause it sucks. I have never talked to or met anyone from WG that wasn't anything but a good person and this would be a big shame, but I think we have the right to know the truth no matter what it is. Hopefully it is family problems not concerning any deaths or anything like that, just a mistake. chitown View Public Profile

I do know that some of the "hater sites" got him in their sites and started attacking him months ago. I also know several members here that sent him very expensive watches to be fixed, he did the work and they were all happy with the end results. As George already said, if anyone has proof of wrong doing on his part, please send it directly to me. __________________ Michael
