Somehow I dont get the sense that she is that knowledgeable to have any serious input to designing that watch. I thought she was just an Invicta spokeperson really... Geeze people. Is it that hard to believe that she might have said "You know what would be nice?..." or was maybe asked for her opinion on a new design? She's the one who's out in the field talking with people and must have a pretty good idea of what people want. Does everything have to go negative? __________________

Perhaps Jill did have input on these models. After all, Jill is out on the "front lines" and knows what is being asked for. Jill doesn't need to be technical to do her job. She is the national sales manager so I'm sure she has a quite a bit of input plus she is close to Eyal and his family. How many of us have given input on what they want in a watch and Invicta and other brands have listened. Most if not all of us are not watch makers. No one knows her background or her. She could have a doctorate in mechanical engineering for all anyone knows. I was taught early on not to judge a book by its cover. I give her her props for being where she is in life. __________________

Who really cares either way? She could have told someone who showed a mock-up of the watch that it was nice and to leave it like that. Voila! She helped. I just remember the first few weeks she was on the shop shows she was calling the crown gaurds something else and I thought it was odd that someone in her position did not know what it was. __________________ There is nothing worse than being alone. This term "bashing" is thrown around to much, and is such a ugly word. Please don't use it anymore...eh? Lately if anybody says one thing to the contrary its bashing. Jill said she helped, thats good enough for me....others, maybe not so much. So they express doubt, so what? Nobody bashed anybody here. Last edited by mrmike29; 03-17-2011 at 02:19 PM. Jill has been with Invicta for 10 yrs now...IMO although she might not be as technical correct as Mike or Jim she does an excellent job...I would not be surprised if she did some R&D or came up with a cool improvement. My Wife still ask what inning it is while watching football...lol __________________

All great watches started w/ a great idea or design and then become a team effort. As a female watchgeek I'm offended by this. I constantly read posts on here where geeks suggest designs they would like to see created or modifications they would like to see incorporated into an already existing model. This post suggests that all Jill is capable of is suggesting a whim of hers to the designers. I'm quite sure she's smarter than that as she actually works for Invicta, unlike the rest of us. Your selling her short.
