watch_crazzy Senior Member Veteran Geek Sandston Lupah arrived today . . .
today I received the sandstone Lupah set and I must say I am a little disappointed. The sandstone dial is very weak compaired to my other sandstone dials from Invicta. The shiny specs are so small and barely noticeable from a distance of about two feet. I expected this one to be awesome looking as it is a Lupah and the crystal maginfies the dial but even with the Lupah crystal it is like looking up at the sky on a cloudy nite. I hope I just have a not so good piece of sandstone and everyone else gets a better one. Maybe this is what you get for $59 and I should not expect more?? I am on the fence about keeping it. I do like the straps, especially the blue one and they will fit the 50mm Pro Diver rubber set I got earlier in the year, I may keep it just for the straps, who knows? Since it was a complete sell out an exchange is a no go at this time. Anyone else receive theirs yet? If so, what do you think of yours? Thanks for your comments and oponions and have a great Christmas everyone. __________________ Thanks Ed "RDG"

Yea - I was kinda worried about that and did not order it. When you sell them that cheap they must cut somewhere. I still love my Lupah Strap set with the black MOP but it very poor MOP. Sometimes very hard to even tell if it is MOP. You really have to hold it into the right light to see it. Like I said I still love it and and ware it often. I am sure that at a cost of $59 your set is still a keeper. Unless you have seen a really good sandstone dail most will not know the differences. __________________

My black MOP Lupah has 'suckie' pearl too, nothing like what was shown on the TV show. It is not even flat, looks to have a wave or two in the thing; what are the odds I wonder? Then again, I received an omen not to buy the Lupah with sandstone, the one Daniel Green was wearing had one where the minute hand was loose, saw it fall about 15 minutes worth on live TV. I figure if the sample is bad, I do not even want to try and get one for myself. __________________

I am getting mine tomorrow. I was worried about that. At $59.00, but it does not matter, even if they were $1.00 or $500.00 the quality should be there. I will see when it comes, positive thoughts __________________ "True Watch Dogs" Alarmguy View Public Profile Send a private message to Alarmguy Send email to Alarmguy Find all posts by Alarmguy Add Alarmguy to Your Contacts #6 Today, 02:18 PM

i agree with Gary the quailtiy SHOULD be there no matter the price...but im not holding my breath. i was very excited to get the set...mainly for the straps and if was just the straps its still a good deal in my opinion...as for the quality of the sandstone and how sparkly it is i am not concerned about. if i want attention grabbing, super sparkling in the sun that will blind passers by....ill get a dial made with glitter. I got mine today and not impressed. Removed the plastic from the crystal and was not impressed. Just doesn't work for me in the gold. The straps were thick, tough and
uncormfortable. Nice wooden box though. I guess with all of the reserve exposure of late my pallette is getting more sophisticated. It will be going back. __________________
