I got a beat up used watch from Shop!!
I ordered a beauty petite limited edition white MOP from Shop for my wifes anniversary and when I received it today I was shocked when I opened the box. The watch was not wrapped at all, did not have a do not remove tag, had scratches, was missing a link, and some of the screws were stripped!! The inside of the pink wooden laquered box was disgusting and the pillow had what appeared to be makeup all over it! Needless to say it ruined the surprise I had for my wife and I called Shop immediately to let them know how disgusted and dissapointed I was and drive straight to the UPS store to send it back for an exchange. I hope they don't send me another used watch! Has this happened to anyone else? I know they sell returned watches but wow this one was in horrible condition and I have no idea how it could be deemed sellable??? It was # 49/50 incase anyone here would like to know. Thanks, Isaac

Their Return Policy is Great, CS has always been Wonderful , at least in my experiences... I wouldnt worry too much about getting another like you described...Someone slid that one in on Shop when they returned it... Please keep us posted on your "New" watch they will be sending... Good Luck.. __________________

Thanks guys! I really hope I don't get another used one. This is only my 10th or 11th purchase from Shop and have never had this problem. I did get a reserve bolt that I'm pretty sure was a return but it was in excellent condition just missing the wrapping and tag so I kept it. Thanks, Isaac CobraKeeper View Public Profile Send a private message to CobraKeeper

Ive received a returned watch from SHOP before (interchangeable Beauty).. thankfully it was in good shape so I kept it. It didnt have the tags and wasnt wrapped either. I checked with my WG Mentor (the wonderful KMC1212) to check with him on what I should be looking for to make sure everything was there and everything worked properly.. it was all okay. I do wish SHOP would have better QC regarding their returns.. I guess right now its the luck of the draw on what condition its in when you get a return. Best of luck to receive a better one.. and remember the thought was there for your wife, Im sure she appreciated that. peachydek View Public Profile Send a private message to peachydek Find all posts by peachydek Add peachydek to Your Contacts #8 Yesterday, 10:59 PM

I had the same experience with a XO Skeleton shipment on Tuesday and a Renato Beast TTV Purple TTV Today Where is the QC ... It only takes a minute ot two to check a shipment before sending it out and takes days , dollars and causes headaches to return the merchandise. I am curious as to how the TTV could be used? Some watches are spot checked and will not have the wrapping. Thus, they were not used. Different scenario from that described by the OP. Thanks, Isaac Again, some of the watches are spot checked before shipment. They will not have the usual wrapping and tag. That does not mean they are used. The thing with the Beauty was a different case and just another sign of ShopNBC not checking the merchandise. So sorry. But to insure it does not happen to someone else, I would have encased in a baggy with a note wrapped around it explaining the problem.

Clearly was a return and had small scuff on bracelet at clasp. Of course I was pissed. Wife on the other hand loved the watch and much more forgiving then me. She said, "I will scuff it in the same spot within 10 seconds of wearing so no big deal, I want to keep it." Needless to say we kept it.
It happens, as long as shop takes back and covers all the extra shipping etc., I can live with mistakes happening. It is when someone doesn't stand behind their product/services where I lose it. __________________
