English 9 Honors – You are required to complete the summer reading assignment. Choose a book from the list below, and complete the assignment outlined on the next page. English 9 – Waterford High School SUMMER READING 2019 20-QUESTION QUIZ Create a 20-question quiz on the book you chose. Questions should be about the characters, setting, major events, conflicts, and themes. You must include an answer key. Use at least two of the following formats: multiple-choice (four choices), true/false, matching, or open-ended. Your quiz and answer key will be assessed using the criteria below. Extra credit will then be determined by your English teacher.
QUESTIONS The student creates rigorous and challenging questions about many different aspects of the story. Questions use at least two different formats. An answer key for all questions (including open-ended) is provided.
ORGANIZATION/NEATNESS Quiz is well-planned, and questions are ordered in a logical and chronological way. Quiz is typed, printed out, and presented in a professional manner.
WRITING The students uses standard written English, and there are no spelling or mechanical errors. Questions are clear and concise. Quiz would require no editing or changes before being assigned to the class.
