t Eastland we’re spreading the Christmas joy and helping children’s dreams come true with our new Santa’s Magical Wonderland, covering a huge 200 square metres! While you wait to whisper your Christmas wishes to Santa, explore our forest of reindeers, Christmas trees wrapped in fairy lights, toadstool craft village, elf cubby houses and story time corner. If you’re a little shy and would rather write your wish list in a letter to Santa, just drop your note in our North Pole Letterbox and Santa will get the message when he returns to his toy workshop. We have a variety of passengers, from kids and people who need a bit of help, to those who don’t fancy the walk to the station. Take a sneak peek at the development progress at Eastland from our viewing platform on Level 3, near The Pancake Parlour. We’re excited to announce the concrete slabs for David Jones and Target have been poured and the builders are now working on the connection to the new Town Square!

“I’ve been in the business for more than 25 years, the past 10 here at Eastland. I studied to be an accountant but I always knew I’d be a seamstress; it’s a family business and both my parents are tailors. It didn’t take me long to learn the ropes because I was so passionate. I love seeing happy customers! The most popular job we do is shortening pants. People can buy a new pair, drop them off while they shop then pick them up when they’re done. If you want to succeed in this job, you need a good knowledge of clothes, but the best quality you can have is patience. Alter It is located on Level 2 near Customer Service. Call (03) 9847 0700.
