“Loose, wavy hair is very on trend this summer. It’s all about the wave!” Says Olivia Schultz, Salon Partner, Oscar Oscar Salons Toowoomba. We asked Olivia for her top tips to achieve this season’s key hair look, effortless style and luscious waves. Prep clean, dry hair with a light volumising product such as Aveda Volumising Tonic which you lightly spray all over the hair to help give the hair a little bit of grip and hold. It will also help the look last longer.
MAXFACTOR AT PRICELINE
Start at the nape of your hair and take large sections (approx 2-3 cm) and twist your ghd styler horizontally to create a curl. I recommend the new ghd Eclipse styler as it has rounded edges perfect for waves. Repeat this until all of the hair is curled. Using a fine-toothed comb, create a deep side-part directly from above one temple to the back of your head and flip the hair to one side. Now to create the beautiful s-bend wave. Gently brush out the curl using a ghd oval bristle brush. You can use the brush to mould the hair into a beautiful wave.

To finish the look, spray your hair with a finishing spray such as the Kerastase Laque Substansive to hold your style without stiffness. Oscar Oscar is located on Level 1.
