IWA’s National Campaign Festival 2014 Programme Announced IWA is pleased to announce the programme for the National Campaign Festival being held in Chester. Over 125 traditional canal boats will gather in Tower Wharf on the Dee Branch of the Shropshire Union Canal for the festival, which takes place over the weekend of 6th - 8th June. The event, which is organised by IWA Chester & Merseyside Branch will include an RAF Hawker Hurricane flypast, free
angling taster sessions, pole dancing sessions, children’s activities such as model boat making with Wild over Waterways, free boat trips and guided walks as well as food and refreshment stands and live music from rhythm & blues and brass bands.
